Good morning all, it's dull, windy and drizzly here.

Billy had an early walk and John's out cycling. Joe's moving around upstairs, I'm not sure of his plans. I think we're going for a walk around Stafford this afternoon. We were thinking of going yesterday but ended up having a walk around Penkridge Market instead.

Hope you feel better soon Lissie!
You too Crommers :P
Hope our Saundra is ok today xx

Have a good day all!

Hope the poorlies feel better as the day goes on xx

Worktop is now in place :Hi: :Hi: :Hi:

They were rushed yesterday, so much paid work, so came up earlier. Had a beer, to make them strong - love the Alentejanas  - and shifted it no problem. Grumpy is now going to put some tiles on the wall :D

We had a beer too, to celebrate

Afternoon all :D

Quite sunny here, but every now and then the clouds come over.

Take it easy Saundra, hope you and Lissie feel better soon xx

We had a lovely day yesterday, caught the bus down to the harbour and then walked along to watch the kite surfers. Perfect weather for them, overcast and very breezy. Luckily very warm too. Probably a bit rash but I made the sudden decision to try walking all the way home, just to put that into perspective it's a good 30min walk at the best of times. Had to stop and rest a few times and was getting pretty sore towards the end, hence the stop at the pub for a meal, definitely needed to sit down by then. Haven't walked that far since last September so feeling very chuffed.

No plans today, not surprisingly a bit stiff. Got the sheets on the go and need to make the beds ready for the boys tomorrow.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Afternoon all, it is dull here and inclined to mizzle a little, but not cold. The promised torrential rain did not materalise last night, we had one heavy shower and not much else. We were out on the terrace chatting after breakfast and Mr Osc was saying he would like to get another Virginia creeper and because when he decides on something he wants it now, we were very soon in the car on our way out  First to B&Q to see if they had another tub to match the one we got on Wednesday, they did, and we also got a little set of plastic drawers to tidy up some stuff in the attic. Then back to the garden centre to get another creeper, and got some strawberries too. Home for lunch, I've changed the bed, and think I will do some reading while himself watches sport (football is back  ).

Saundra and Lissie, hope you feel better soon. Lissie, thoses doses can be very draining, keep your fluid levels up and maybe get some rehydration salts at the chemist.
