Good morning Tuesday

Postby Ally » 04 Sep 2018, 05:15

Good morning.

29 degrees forecast which is lovely. 8-)

Don and I are going to drive and park the car at the very start of la playa and walk all the way to Benalmadena port and back; it's about 16kms and we'll have a nice cold drink in a chiringuito when we've finished. :D

Have a good day everyone.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Grey start again and we'll be the same temps Ally 8-) ditto for the week too :D

Just about to decide where Grumpy can dig a couple of holes in the garden  for trees ;) One the same as the one we put in the other week and the other is a jacaranda :D I've had them both out in the sun for a coupe of weeks, so although they're smaller than the other one, they'll probably do a bit better. That one struggled for a couple of days, but is doing well now.

I'll pop down the bar ater, to pick up some bread rolls and then Gez is coming up to have a nosy at the new room and also to cut my hair. Then I'll finish off cleaning, I gave up yesterday, it got too hot

Dimas is supposed to be coming up later, to cut down the rest of the mimos tree. We've only been asking for about 6 months

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning :)
Lovely and bright and sunny.
Love Jacarandas Jan :)
That's a lovely walk Ally :)

Craft for me this morning, still knitting my cowl, taking my neighbour again. She now has a pattern and wool to knit poppies.
Hope everyone has a good day

Morning all :)

Ally, 29° sounds lovely, as does that walk 8-)

Glad you're finally getting some normal temps Jan, your weather was so weird earlier on :)

You'll need that cowl soon Di, no doubt! I gave away my trenchcoat style mac, as it was huge on me, but I'll have to buy a new one, with the amount of rain we get here! Hope you have a good time at craft :)

It's pouring here, but I have to go out to GRH for my scheduled mammagram. That's at 10.30 in a mobile unit in the hospital grounds. Then I'll go and see D :)

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning everyone

Ally, that 16km walk into town; how do you get back to the car - another walk or catch a bus? 32k is quite a hike in one day :D
Jan, I love Jacaranda trees; they're so pretty when they're in flower. Fingers crossed Dimas does turn up, but then I wouldn't hold your breath on that one
Di, enjoy craft. The village where I live has put an appeal out for knitted poppies as they'd like to make a huge display with them from what I gather. I'm hoping to be able to buy a knitted one this year vs the usual paper one.
Good luck with the mammogram Kaz; not the most pleasant but necessary.

A rather cool and grey start to the day here and not sure it's going to clear up all that much. It's feeling decidedly autumnal. Jan the 29 / 30 degrees at yours are sounding amazing; this time next week I'll be on that aeroplane!

Another usual / usual for me. GBBO tonight :Hi: :Hi:

Have a lovely day all x

Thanks Ria, I have ever found them uncomfortable but I know many do. Your trip is coming around quickly - this time next month I'll be on a plane too! :D

Morning all :D

Dull and overcast here.

Enjoy your walk Ally.
Good luck with the mammogram Kaz, I find them very painful.
I love Jacaranda trees too Jan, we saw so many when we visited my sister in Oz.

Yesterday was such a long day, we left here at 10.30am and didn't get home until 10pm. The ankle wasn't too bad, but my hip was really sore by the time we left the hospital. E getting the 5yr all clear definitely made up for it all. He's signed up for a yearly check going forward.

Would still be in bed, but I've got an appointment with a podiatrist later this morning.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning all, it's gorgeous here. I am going shopping this morning, holiday bits and pieces plus we need printer ink. We got up early but I seem to be running late, so I need to get off this ipad!

Good morning all, it's dull and drizzly here.

Joe's in college today, he's got three full days per week this year compared to the two he had for the first two years of his 'full time' course :? Or at least that's the plan. Admin had made an error and enrolled them all on the wrong course and some hadn't even been enrolled so yesterday was taken up with new paperwork and them being put on the system. I even had a call at one point from the admin dept asking if he knew he was supposed to be back in college yesterday as he wasn't logged in for his course - none of them were!

Tom's back from Bath tonight, although they got a train to Bristol yesterday.

Have a good day all!

 That's a shocker Jo! :? Glad he got it sorted!

Morning Jen, morning Osc.

All done at the hossie! You know I didn't think it had been two years since my last one, and it was actually only 18 months, as when I checked in she asked me if I had had a mammogram anywhere else since March last year. I wonder why they called me again so soon. I should have asked really :?
