Good morning Wednesday

Postby Ally » 05 Sep 2018, 05:19

Good morning.

Like yesterday the forecast is for 29 degrees but went way over that....we're postponing tomorrow's yomp  till next Thursday as it will just be too hot for the length of the climb and there is absolutely no shade anywhere. We're being sensible. :D

I'll go for a walk this morning and have a swim. :D

I'm meeting a friend in town at noon for coffee and a bacon pitufo. :D

Shouty TV tonight.

Have a great day and hoping Saundra is on the road to recovery.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Dark   We stayed cloudy all day yesterday but when we did get sun, it was hot 8-) Supposed to be similar today, with 29C 8-)

Sensible Ally - it won't be going anywhere, so a another week will make a difference, temperature wise.

Off to Castro Verde this morning. We need a couple of things from the market and our bank is there too. Grumpy has to have a form signed - and officially stamped - to prove he is still alive and can continue having his pension sent  On the look-out for a wall light for the new bedroom and don't really want to go either to Beja or the Algarve :?

Hope Saundra is on the mend now - hope we hear something soon.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning :)
Quite bright and sunny.
Makes sense Ally, when it's that hot. Bacon pitufo sounds good though :)
Hope you can find a wall light Jan.
No plans for me today, until 4pm when I have an mri scan. Not at my best that time of day so Bb will be back to take me.

Thinking of Saundra.
Hope everyone has a good day

Morning everyone

Grey and dull today and not very warm.

Ally, totally agree that it makes sense to postpone the yomp. Enjoy the noon snack - sounds delicious; yum
Jan, hope you get everything sorted that needs doing
Di, good luck for the scan and glad Bb will be taking you ((hugs))

usual / usual for me...

Have a lovely day all and ongoing vibes for Saundra and everyone else that needs them xxx

Good luck with the scan Di. Yes, if it's going to be that hot a day off walking won't hurt Ally. Jan, one day it will all be done!

Grey here, not too cold though. MrsC and her sis are off to their dad's soon. I may go an d look at a car.

Have a good day everyone and I hope Saundra is on the mend.

Morning all :)

That's sensible Ally! 8-)

Hope you find a light you like Jan xx

Good luck Di xxx

Morning Ria xx

Have fun car hunting Crommers!

Sainsbury's today for a few bits - fruit, milk - I'll walk up there to get my steps. Might go to Zumba tonight. Need to tackle the huge box of old family photos that mum left me. I was asked at my uncle's funeral last week if I had any of Uncle Len when he was young. His step granddaughter wanted to see any I might have, so I promised to look, and scan and email any I might find. I also need to sort out clothes to wear tomorrow, as Emma and I are going to our friend's little grandson's funeral. It will be awfully sad, but she asked us and we want to support her.

If I get more news of our Saundra I will update. I sent our card xx

Have a good day xxx

Morning all, it's a lovely autumn morning here. We were up bright and early as Mr Osc was having bloods done at 8.30. While he was in the surgery, I nipped to the Lidl across the road to do the supermarket shop. Then on the way home, we popped into the other supermarket to get a few other things. We were back home sitting having breakfast at our usual time! Gym in a while, probably out for a cuppa and chat with the gym ladies afterwards, and then home to do whatever needs doing.

Good afternoon all, it's quite sunny here at the moment.

I've walked Billy and done some shopping, I've got some ironing to do but I think I'll walk Bill again first. We usually go after dinner for his second walk but John's decided to go cycling on the Chase tonight and I'm not comfortable walking through the woods and on the common on my own at night, especially as it starts to get dark at around 8 now. The dark mornings in the Winter are a different matter; I just figure that the weirdos/addicts/bogeymen are all sleeping then and don't come out until after Jeremy Kyle has finished :P

Kaz, I can't even begin to imagine what tomorrow will be like :( xx

Have a good day all xx
