Yes fair play to him! On a similar note, an old friend of Mick's only stopped playing local rugby a few years back. He had his 70th birthday party recently :shock: :lol: They tend to lunacy in these parts :P

Mind you, he is an ex paratrooper :lol:

Mick has been getting back into fitness over the last year, and was asked, only half-jokingly, if he fancied a game :shock: That got a very emphatic NO! :lol: :cute:

I attended a local Dorset League game last year at South Cheriton and got chatting to the referee, David Moore. He told me he was 70, and smiled when I told him that he was far fitter than I was!

I see he's continuing to officiate this season.
