Very dull and going to be wet on and off.

Tonight I'm taking Bb out for dinner, a local place called the Fisherman's Rest (can't do links on kindle).
Decided all in one day would be a bit much, and I was right!

Watering done and I was up by t he fence when prat next door let out his dogs and they came hurtling up at the fence, jumping up and barking like mad - made me jump, I was miles away He was watering the donkeys and ignored my comments, so went down onto the gravel and threw a lump of mud at the fence. That stopped them.

Supposed to be doing the cleaning this morning but might take myself to the doc, if Dr Paulo is on this morning. Something went into or bit my eye or eye lid and it's puffy below the eye and a bit sore. I might just soldier on and see what it's like tomorrow or Monday.

Will be taking it easy once the cleanings done, into the pool and curry later.

Well it's dull here, but at least it's dry! Out shortly for our usual brunch, then up to see D Mick and Becky are going to Ross-On-Wye later, to collect the reptile

Been for a good long walk...thought I'd do 8kms and did 12 so I'm pleased.

I shall spend the rest of the day in or around the pool.

Thai restaurant tonight with a couple of friends of ours...it's her birthday.

We've had a good look - not the eye, the lower eye lid. Puffy as anything, but we think it's a bite, so will leave it.

The heatwave is now extended until Thursday or Friday of next week

Afternoon all, just a quick hello from me.

On the train to Manchester with Joe, we’re just stopped in Macclesfield. Train is rammed but we managed to fight through and evict the people in our reserved seats. Glad I booked first class to come back, it was only £2 dearer plus we won’t have to be crammed in with the Wolves supporters after they’ve inevitably beaten us

Not surprised you're feeling stir crazy Saundra. Would it be possible to borrow a chair and get someone to take you out for a couple of hours?

Not sure what's going on, but I was up for an hour in the night with a painful hip, much better now thank goodness. Taking it easy today, a bit of washing and that's it.
