Good morning Sunday

Postby Diflower » 23 Sep 2018, 06:21

Morning :)
Dull and raining.
We will need to go out, for shopping once a decision for dinner has been made. I have tried just going round the supermarket hoping for inspiration, but it often doesn't work!

We had a lovely dinner last night. Nice place, quite small and very old. A menu long enough for plenty of choice, but short enough to all be freshly cooked.
Bb had a steak, I had bream, both very good :)

Hope you all have a good day

Good morning.

That sounds yummy Di.

I'm just back from a quick run - it's really hot already. I've checked my diary for this time last year and the temps are the same - I must be getting old.

A swim, coffee then picking my folks up to take them to Cartama market...it's mum's favourite and I'm quite fond of it myself. ;)

After dropping them home this evening I'm meeting a work colleague - she is the new teaching assistant starting when we go back to work tomorrow and she'll be in two of my classes Tues/Thur (which I'm jolly glad about as both have 12 little people in them, 6 year olds and 8 year olds  ) so I'm just going to have a chat with her and get to know her. I met her on Friday and she seems fab..and she loves dresses! so we'll definitely get on.

Have a great day everyone.

Morning all :)

Di, your meal out sounds lovely 8-) Staring at the supermarket shelves for inspiration can be soul destroying :cute:

Ally, is that the market with all the books? :D Your new TA sounds great :)

It's belting down here! Out for the papers in a while, then home for roast chicken and lots of saved stuff on the player 8-) :)

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Morning everyone

A lovely morning and hotting up later - we're a little hotter than normal for this time of year, but not complaining.

Sounds a nice place Di, somewhere to keep for special occasions :D

Late start as we had a late night, so the staining of the new bench won't be happening this morning. The stain would stick to the brush, not the bench

General pootling, swim, darts on the tv  and leftovers for dinner.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning all.

It's dull, and trying to rain here. I won't be going anywhere today, but I've plenty of indoor jobs I have to do.

Have a good day everyone.

Morning all, we are back :) Twelve hours door to door, how I dislike air travel :x Venice/Gatwick/Dublin, we saw an Aer Lingus plane in Venice Airport and wished we could get on it. Our cruise was fly/cruise, so there would have been no reduction in cost had we gone cruise only. However all went well, for some reason the flight from Gatwick to Dublin ended up being an hour late, but at least we were spared those awful Ryanair trumpets for an on-time arrival

However, we had a fab time, met lots of lovely people, enjoyed super weather and did plenty of dancing. I have to get started on the unpacking, and this afternoon Miss Osc has asked us to call up for belated birthday cake.

Morning all...….almost :D

Very wet and windy

Glad you had a lovely meal last night Di.
Osc loved the photo's on Fb of your holiday, it all looked wonderful.
Enjoy the casserole Saundra.

No plans for today, it's much too wet to go far anyway. Roast chicken and veggies for dinner followed by lemon and lime jelly with vanilla blancmange.

Hope you all have a good day :D
