Good morning Saturday

Postby Ally » 29 Sep 2018, 06:04

Good morning.

Hot and sunny. 8-)

Don's using the car today so I'm going to get the train to Torremolinos to go and visit my folks. There's an absolutely huge swimming pool in the gardens there so I'll take my cossie and have a swim. :D

Conor's coming over at 1.30 and we'll all go out for lunch. :D

Don should be with us around 4 and after a coffee we'll come home.

We're going to a birthday party tonight. :D

Have a great day everyone.

Vibes for all who need them. xx

Good morning all, it's sunny and cool.

Getting ready to drive down to Kings Lynn for my cousin's wedding. My parents have now decided that they're not going at all, too much of a journey and too long a day. I'm actually wishing I'd declined, I could actually do with being at home today. That's the problem with long distance weddings I suppose, you can't just pop home to do anything you need to do in the lull between the ceremony and meal and the evening like you could when people got married at the local church and had the reception in a hall nearby.

Sounds like a good day Ally!

Hope that Di and Saundra are doing better this morning xx

Have a good day all!

Safe travels Jo and hope the day turns out OK despite the distance
Ally enjoy the day with the folks

I'm off to Brighton a bit later to meet up with a friend for a mooch around the shops, walk along the promenade and lunch - it's nippy but sunny so a perfect day for it really

<Morning everyone

A chilly 17C at the moment, but warming up to 30C something later.

Safe journey Jo, hope it's not as bad as you fear ;)

Have a great day with the parentals Ally x

Never been to Brighton Ria, have a lovely day x

Suffice to say, we won't be going back to the Palma  Mine was okay ish, but Grumpy's pork steak was tough, chewy, over-cooked :cute: :cute: Asked for the salad to be on a separate plate, no. Although she did offer a separate plate when she delivered the meal. We had a better time back at the bar. The outside tables were full of local foreigners, so we stayed inside - they were there when we went out and were rather piddled when we got back. As sober, it would have been difficult to keep up with them. We stayed in with the Portuguese and had a great laugh.

Watering done, coffee about to be drunk, we have left over turkey breast for breakfast. The amount of meat last night was just too much, so brought some home 8-)

Pootling today, radish already coming up  may just transplant some seedlings in the garden. We'll see.

Hope Di and Saundra are feeling better this morning xx

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning :)
Very chilly but lovely, and so nice to be able to see outside and get out into the garden.

Have just read all the daily posts. Sounds like good new re Pepper, and Ria I'm always jealous of your days out in Brighton :)
Health updates too much for now, but I'm here, slept pretty well, and am comfortable.
Hope you all have a good day
