Good morning Saturday

Postby pollR78 » 20 Oct 2018, 05:46

Morning all,

up super early here, George woke to feed then blue lights appeared outside.....never a dull moment here these days. Lots of police vans, think some kind of domestic incident, not the usual issue with ‘youths’.

So im up & showered, taking Murphy to the Groomers in an hour as got an early 8am appointment.

Nothing much planned, probably go a walk with George then home to chill.

Have a good day everyone

Morning Poll, morning everyone.

Had a great flight over yesterday and it was lovely to be greeted by Jackie. :D

Off shopping this morning then being a lady wot lunches. :D

Gez's 60th birthday 'do' tonight (the reason we came over. Don and Gez met on their first day of high school and have been best friends since)

There's a coach picking us up from Digbeth at 6pm then we're off to the Black Country to frequent the local hostelries  then having a curry.

Back to Digbeth for a nightcap at the White Swan.
Gez and Sharon very kindly invited Jackie so I'll have my best friend with me. :D

I'm really looking forward to it and also to wear my crazy new 60's dress.

Have a good day.

Hugs for all. X

Morning Poll, Ally and everyone

Gorgeous morning but thunderstorms are forecast.

Off down to the bar for coffee and bread rolls. Meeting Antonia there too :D

Back for a quick breakfast, then Steve is coming up to finish off the plumbing :Hi: :Hi: All I need to find now is a towel rail, mirror and a couple of curtain tie-backs. And a television. But that can wait ;)

Hope George goes to sleep early tonight Poll 8-)

Have a great time Ally :D

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning all! It's quite misty here but there's was a beautiful sunrise when me and Bill were out walking.

Not sure what's happening today. I'll be watching football with Joe later and will probably call in to see my parents at some point. The plan was that we'd replace the broken fence post but John managed to injury himself when moving his mother's garden furniture last Saturday so it'll have to wait.

Joe's girlfriend was in a car crash last night, someone went through a red light and hit her. She's thankfully okay but her car's in a bit of a mess.

Ally, that sounds like it'll be a good night out!

Have a good day all!

Morning all :)

Hi Poll! I saw a bit on Facebook about the trouble you've been having locally :( I hope it stops soon, it's the last thing you need! Give George a cuddle from me :) xxx

Ally that all sounds great, and I'm sure the dress is amazing :D

Glad your bathroom is almost done Jan! :D

My morning will be a little bit different. B really wants and needs to lose some weight before it starts to affect her health. She can't do a weekday WW meeting like the one I help at, so she's joining the Slimming World group that meets in the school on the back of us. I'm joining too as she really doesn't want to go alone (she thinks she'll be the biggest there, which I doubt) so I'm going along to keep her company. This means Corretto's will be lunch, rather than brunch, but I want to support B in this 8-) D's this afternoon :)

Have a good day everyone, love to all xxx,,

Morning all, it is a lovely bright day here. We were up a bit late so I have still to have my shower. Funnily enough, Jo, Mr Osc will be watching football later too :cute: All that awaits me is the ironing  although I have already cleaned the bathroom downstairs, sorted some laundry and put a wash on.

Good afternoon all.

It's quite pleasant here, weather-wise. We've been on our usual shopping trip into town this morning, but didn't
enjoy it much, as I suffered crippling pains in my hands, thanks to this wretched Arthritis. I'm going to my Doctor
on Tuesday to have the first of two injections, which will, hopefully, ease the pain.

Having a restful afternoon, and looking forward to Strictly tonight.
Hope you are all feeling O.K.

Morning all...….almost

Bright, sunny and warm here 8-)

Enjoy your day Ally, sounds fun.
Glad Joe's girlfriend is okay Jo.
I'm sure B with appreciate having you with her Kaz, always difficult joining these things without support.
Hope the injections help Aggers, arthritis is so painful.

Had a phone call, Hannah our granddaughter is coming tomorrow and bringing Eliza who's 6mths old now. No Charlotte as she's with the nasty ex's parents this weekend. They are staying overnight so I'll be whizzing round the bungalow today getting it ready for their arrival.

Hope you all have a good day :D
