Good Morning Monday

Postby JanB » 22 Oct 2018, 06:25

Morning everyone

Hazy over the hills this morning, but dry at the moment. We may get a thunderstorm later, but going to be a lot warmer than yesterday 8-)

General pootling this morning, then this afternoon, going to pay for the window and then onto Santa Luzia to get wood for the bedroom door. We have ledge and brace doors on all the internal rooms, so Grumpy is going to make one to match :D

Pit stop at the bar on the way back and leftover curry for dinner :D

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all :)

Hope you get the bits for the door sorted Jan :) xx

Saundra, good for you, best to keep moving I'm sure :) xx

WW this morning, I won't be getting on the scales there any more now I'm going to SW with Becky, but I help out and don't pay there, and enjoy the social side of it, so will keep going for the foreseeable :)

It's a beautiful bright and crisp Autumn day here, just lovely!

Have a good day everyone xxx

A bright chilly morning here. I am a bit envious of the warm weather in Portugal! Yes, keep moving Saundra but take it steady. Enjoy your socialising Kaz. :)

A few family visits today, nothing else on.

Have a good day all.

Good morning all, it's a really lovely one here although I definitely felt the cold when I opened the door at 6.15 this morning. It quite took me by surprise!

No real plans here apart from cleaning and walking Bill again this afternoon. We're getting to fireworks time again so I worry he'll get spooked and run if he hears them while we're out with him at night, having said that though we regularly hear gunshot from the farms while out and he doesn't take any notice.

Joe's in college this afternoon and Tom's working at some point. No idea when, I asked him what hours he was working this week and he just told me the days when he's not working.

Crommers, glad to see that your son is doing well.

Saundra, I'll bet you're fed up!

Kaz, how did Becky get on at SW?

Jan, bet you're glad you've got your bank cards sorted!

Have a good day all!

Morning all, a lovely autumn morning here but definitely chilly when I was hanging out washing. Humdrum sort of day for me, need to change the bed, then off to the gym before coming back to finish the current batch of ironing. I also need to renew the car tax online, so I will do that now >>>>>>>>

Jo, the window man will only accept cheques, cash or multibank transfer  So he had some cash on Friday and the rest today.

The wood will be by card as will our house and car insurance. Thanks for reminding me Osc :D They send the reminders out so early, I forget by it's time to pay. Will pop in to see Manuel on Wednesday. That normally means checking out various cafe's to see where he is

Gorgeous day now, washing out, we had an enormous breakfast  (fried too   ) sheep munching and sleeping on the bottom field, birds tweeting away and next door quiet. Bliss 8-)

And should be 25C later :Hi:

I've just been out to the bin and it's still chilly out there.

Cheques, Jan! That's something I very rarely use now.

Nor do we Jo. But if we need them, they come in packs of 6, which we order from the atm and it prints them out there and then. Have to pay something like 6.50 for them though

I've been weeding, something I probably shouldn't do just yet ;) But it's started to cloud over, so I won't bother spraying the weeds, in case we get that thunderstorm.

And yes Saundra, it's a lovely life here 8-) Not for everyone, that's for sure ;)
