Poor lad. I've heard of a few Arthurs lately which just doesn't seem right for a little one, and there seems to be a trend for girls called Margot. I always think of Margot in the Good Life.

The old names must be coming back. I heard recently of a baby boy being called Wilfred.

We have a Daizy living on our close :o
Daisy is a lovely name so why spoil it by doing that to it?

I hated my christian name, Francis, with a vengeance, but fortunately dad was a Frank so I got Frankie or Franky. When dad died I took over the Frank title. Phew! Image Image Image

John had a cousin Frank who sadly died a few years ago, his son who is now in his early 20s is also Frank. He was 'little Frankie' when he was younger.

I hate my name with a passion, our parents gave me and Julie names which were popular at the time so that we wouldn't stand out :o
I think of all of the lovely family names they could've used too - my Nans were Louisa and Edith (ok, we'll pass on using Edith  ), Great Grandmothers were Emma, Sarah, Hannah and Mary Anne, and amongst the great aunties were Eliza, Charlotte (Lottie), Carrie, Stella, Daisy and Eva.
