Good Morning Sunday

Postby JoM » 16 Dec 2018, 07:03

Good morning all, I’m just waiting for John to get up so he can come out with me and Bill. He doesn’t fancy a muddy bike ride today!

We’ll pop to Stafford after that and then tonight we’re meeting up with Shannon and her parents in Lichfield and going for a meal :D

Have a good day all!

Morning Jo, morning everyone

Damp. Think we're in a cloud at the moment, as it's white and wet out there  Supposed to only for this morning, but we know how accurate weather forecasts are

Enjoy your meal Jo. Which restaurant was decided on?

We're off to Pingo soon. They have a no iva (that's vat in England) day today and as it runs mostly at 23%, we're going to take advantage and stock on water, beer, washing powder, stuff like that.

Back to a cooked breakfast and then I have no idea. Depends what the weather does.4

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning peeps. :)

It's ridiculously warm here! It usually is lovely this time of year but to have it bordering on hot is just mental.

I've been for a bike ride with Don - that man is training me to within an inch of my life!

I'm having a coffee and then putting up our Christmas tree. :Hi:

Don's making steak, roasties, veg and a black pepper sauce for dinner. He's very useful to have around. We can't remember the last time we had a 'Sunday dinner'. We think it might have been at mum's 2 years ago.

Have a great day everyone.

Best to take advantage of that today Jan! :D

We’re going to a place called Faro Lounge, it’s the place that Shannon had to persuade her mother to try. The menu looks good. It’s not Portuguese, which I assumed, but Tom was saying that there’s a sign in there saying that Faro means beacon and it’s a nod to Beacon Park in the city. There’s another opened in Birmingham, near Longbridge where the car factory was, and that’s called the Allegro Lounge

We’ve just walked 5 miles, it’s a beautiful morning!

Morning all and happy 3rd Advent Sunday

Jan, oops - not good wiper blades coming off. I had it once with my previous car; can't remember what it was but the driver side wiper blade sort of twisted. I was driving on the motorway on my way home at the time but thankfully very very close to home that I managed to limp home without, but not something I'd like to repeat in a hurry.

Agree with everyone, what a difference today to yesterday - it was oh so bitter yesterday.

Going to do a bit of a tidy up and then get out the Christmas stuff, will do the house stuff first and then the tree a bit later this afternoon. Got a bottle of bubbly in the fridge - I always have a glass of prosecco when i do the tree, with Christmas music blaring in the back ground and me singing along.

Have a lovely day all xxxx

Morning all, it looks quite pleasant out there and doesn't seem to be too cold. Today has to involve some ironing as Mr Osc is low on everyday shirts  We also plan to go for a walk, Michael emailed Grandad saying he and his mummy are going to play tennis on the local courts so we will walk towards there to say hello - that will also give me an opportunity to drop in cards to Mr Osc's two sisters who live near the tennis courts. More knitting too, as Kellie's sweater is almost finished.

Morning all :)

Everyone sounds happy/busy today :) :D

We had a very disturbed night, due to a poorly Fraggle needing to be let down the garden every hour or so, but he'd made a miraculous recovery by the time B had almost decided to take him into work with her, for a once-over  By this time B had missed her bus, so Mick gave her a lift in anyway, while I had a shower and then sorted out a few presents. I've been keeping stuff in H's room as I've bought it, but it's now in the individual big Christmas bags, ready to be wrapped 8-)

We're now having brunch in the Quays, about to go to Tesco to take back the outdoor lights we bought last week, which were the wrong sort :? It's funny because that means I get to pick the right ones - Mick insisted the ones he picked up were ok, but he wanted coloured ones whereas my choice was white. Now I'm insisting on the white ones     Lamb chops for later :Hi:

Have a great day! xxx
