I wasn’t happy with my glasses but I gave them the chance to sort it and they did :)

That is good service, did you say it was an independent opticians MM? It's the sort of thing we would be happy to do for our patients too, occasionally you get a frame that really isn't a good fit and no matter how you tweak it, it never feels right - sometimes it's better just to bite the bullet and change the whole thing, which is what has happened here.

I'm so glad you returned - at the end of the day, the customer has to be happy with the goods, and it's within everyone's best interest to make sure this is the case. If you didn't go back to discuss the problem and just never returned to the opticians, how are they/we to know, and improve the service?
