Postby Ally » 29 Dec 2018, 08:00

Good morning.

Continued warmth and sunshine. 8-) 8-)

Off for a bike ride shortly...my personal trainer is loving this!

Conor's over later for the Old Firm game then the 3 of us are going out for a beer and a bite to eat. :D

Have a great day everyone.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Foggy again  But the sun is trying to come out 8-)

General pootling for us today. A couple of the panels of netting on the fence between us and the idiot is torn, so that will come down today. Won't bother replacing it, as the dogs can't get into that part of the field now.

Will also need to sort out some protection for our smaller plants, as we're in for a few rather cold nights.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all :)
Ally, you keep that PT of yours on his toes! ;)

Jan it's getting a bit colder here too, but we've had an incredibly mild Christmas! Hope your plants will be ok :)

We're having a great time here with J and family. They arrived about noon, and had soup, fresh baked rolls, cheese and sliced gammon for lunch. We took the dogs for a good walk later then I made dinner - sausage casserole or quiche, baked or mashed potatoes, broccoli and chanterelle carrots and fancy garlic bread! Washed down with plenty of wine, and followed by tarte au citron and cream, or tiny chocolate hot "melt in the mouth" sponges with vanilla custard  Then we all rolled into the living room (No I did take the tree down, and was glad I did!) to watch Father Ted!

A brilliant day, and now looking forward to another - we're going to take them for a walk round the dock basin, to look at the boats and the skating rink - Armand fancies a go, and if he does I will film him. He's been wearing a Santa hat since he arrived, so is easy to spot.....

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Good morning, it's a nice morning here and doesn't appear to be cold. Michael and Kellie will be arriving this afternoon to stay the night so anything needing to be done will be done this morning. My tummy is still a bit dodgy but I am more or less back to normal eating so hopefully it will settle soon.

Good afternoon.

Things are getting back to normal so I have to do some shopping.

It is windy, windy, but not unpleasant as it is also quite warm.

Have a good day everyone.

It-s a lovely, sunny day now, but with a chilly wind.

Spent hours in the garden, weeding and it-s drying out nicely now, so we-ll get the the strimmers out and get rid of the "grass" 8-) also known as weeds

Good afternoon all, it's quite mild here today but very breezy.

We've been a long walk on the Chase this morning, stopped for tea at the cafe and noticed that the army hut was open. It's a restored barracks hut and is only open at certain times as it's manned by volunteers and I popped in and had a look and it was very interesting, then John went in (couldn't go in together as we had Bill with us). I'd asked when it was next open as Shannon would love it and it's open on New Years Day when she's staying with us so I messaged her and she's going to visit.

We're popping over to Stafford shortly. No plans for the rest of the day though.

Have a good day all - Kaz, are you going to skate too?
