Good morning Tuesday

Postby Ally » 01 Jan 2019, 07:43

Good morning.

In Nottingham having a wonderful time with Craig and Leilani. 8-)

We're all going for a drive to a local country park for a good long walk.

Back to then walk into town for shopping, lunch and cocktails. :D

We'll see how tonight pans out but eating at the Curry Lounge has been suggested which I'm more than happy with.

Have a great day and happy new year to you all. :Hi:

Morning Ally, morning everyone

A lovely sunny morning 8-) 8-)

Is it really only Tuesday? Feels like Friday

After a cooked breakfast, I'll take the decorations down and put them away in the battery store, then might flick a duster around, to move the dust.

Maybe a bit of gardening later.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Ally, curry, got to be :D

a lovely morning here with lots of blue sky. Your day sounds perfect Ally.
Not much doing here but we do need to check on our daugter's establishment to see how they are feeling.

Happy New Year all!

It’s dull and drizzly here, although quite mild. I’ve just walked Billy and the only person we saw was John five minutes before we got home, he came to find us.

No plans for today apart from John’s annual fry-up when everyone gets up. I think Shannon’s going home later and Tom has work this evening. I’m sure there’ll be another dog walk too.

Crommers, how is your son in law?

Have a lovely day all!

He is a lot better than he was thanks Jo. He ended up in casualty last Saturday night. There were 76 people in there; some ill some not ill at all.
He is not as dizzy now but does have a sore throat and is very weak. We are hoping that the anti biotics and sleep will put him right.

Good morning and a very happy New Year to you all

A lovely balmy morning here; will be doing a few things outside at some point. Cannot believe my Christmas holidays are over; I had planned to do so much and ended up doing very little. Oh well

Had a most amazing dinner with friends last night but had booked a cab for 10.45 so I would be home to see in the new year; and just as well because the neighbours were having a party which meant fireworks really close by; the poor cats. At one point I knew Ava had gone out into the garden and I hadn't seen her come back in so when the fireworks started I had a frantic moment trying to find her; which I eventually did - inside under the sofa.

Ally enjoy the day; are the shops open up there?
Crommers, glad your son is feeling a bit better and fingers crossed the antibiotics kick in very soon
Kaz and Jo, enjoy your quiet days... Jo that fry up sounds yum
Jan, I'm leaving my Christmas stuff up until next weekend - it always comes down on 6th January. I've absolutely LOVED having a real tree this year and I'll be sad when the time comes to take it down, but will admit that it'll be nice to have the space back.

Have a lovely day everyone xxxx

HAPPY NEW YEAR :D :D :D

Really struggled to get out of bed this morning, a couple of glasses of bubbly at midnight might have something to do with it

Glad your SIL is feeling a lot better Crommers.

We're like you Ria, the decs and tree stay up until 12th night. I always feel a bit sad when it gets put away, the house seems to echo.

Nothing much happening here, I'll be doing poached salmon and veg for dinner later, followed by strawberry blancmange and blackcurrant jelly.

Wishing everyone a healthy and happy 2019
