Good Morning Friday

Postby JoM » 11 Jan 2019, 08:14

Good morning all, it's a bit milder here and quite bright and clear.

Billy's had his walk, Joe's just left for college and Tom has a rare Friday off. Joe has work this evening. I have housework to do.

Crommers, how is your son in law now?

Have a good day all :)

Morning all :D

Bit of a shock to the system, we're up at silly 'o clock as I have to be at the surgery from 9.30am-1.30pm for the DERIK (Diabetes Education and Revision in Kent) course. Goodness knows what they'll find to talk about for that long. They even suggest taking a sandwich or snack along as it goes on for so long. Luckily E's allowed to come along too, between us we should remember some of it.

Afterwards we'll probably pop into town for a few bits.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning Jo, Jen and everyone

Sunny again, and a slight frost, but going to be cold today and for the next few days too

General pootling for me today, although I'll be making a curry and a large stew this morning 8-) Grumpy will be cracking on with the new doors :Hi:

Good luck Jen, hope it's not too tedious and long winded.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning :)

No it's warmer here too, I think, but dull. xx

All the best for your appointment Jen xxx

Stew sounds great Jan, not sure what we're having yet xx

I'm meeting my friend Trisha for a cuppa and natter in town, then it's home to do some housework and clear the pile of ironing that I've been ignoring since Monday :cute:

Mick had a late call-out, and was at his desk until almost 2am so I hope he takes it easy today, and knocks off early. He's getting too old for these late call-outs IMO, I wish he'd drop them, even if it means a little less money :?

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Morning all and happy Friday! :Hi: :Hi:

lots warmer today which = rain overnight; we haven't had any in ages so the bit we had is quite welcome

Jen, good luck with the course - hopefully it's an interesting one.
Jan, the stew does sound yum; may make some myself over the weekend
Kaz, enjoy the natter and cuppa. Hope Mick does take it easy today and you have a lovely relaxed weekend x
Jo, I think Friday's should be your day off from housework ;)

Friday = lunch day = Pizza Express today; yum. Leaving early (4 vs 5.30) as I have a 5.30 medical appointment and then a 6.30 vet appointment. Just hope my appointment is on time otherwise I'm scuppered to get Ava to the vet on time.

Have a lovely day all x

Good morning all, it's dull but dry here. I had a very bad night's sleep - a headache I had yesterday lingered on and woke me about 2.30am. I eventually got up and took a Solpadene with a warm drink but I think I was still awake after 4.30  so I am really tired today. I'll go to the gym this morning but we might not go out tonight. I have some handwashing to do and maybe a bit of ironing later......or I might just sit and read ;) Mr Osc is going to play golf.

A snooze this afternoon is a good idea Osc, hope you feel better now x

Hope all is well with you and Ava, Ria xx

That's the curry done, just having a mug of camomile tea, then onto the stew. It's not for tonight, I'll leave it for a day or so. We're having salmon fish fingers tonight ;)
