Good Morning Monday

Postby JanB » 14 Jan 2019, 07:52

Morning everyone

Frosty and rather chilly start tothe day, although warming up later :D

Will do some houseworkery stuff and once that's out of the way, I'll have a stroll around the garden and feed all the plants. We have wet stuff forecast for later this week, so the feed will water itself in.

Grumpy doing the finishing touches to the new cupboard, looks rather good :Hi: :Hi: We decided on a wooden skirting board, rather than tiles, but it will need several layers of varnish, for when I mop the floor.

Stew for dinner 8-)

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning Jan. Stew for dinner here as well. MrsC has gone to our daughters. Ellie was diagnosed with gastroenteritis yesterday at the health centre and is taking the meds now. She does feel better so fingers crossed.

That grumpy is a handy lad! It's a nice morning here, cold but blue skies and sunny.

Have a good day all.

Morning all, it is a pleasant day. We are heading out shortly for Mr Osc to see the hand therapy nurse, after which we plan to go and see Stan and Ollie. It's quiet in here!

Good morning all! It's going quite dull here after a sunny start. It's very breezy still.

Tom's doing his work experience at his old school today, he's going to be sitting in history lessons. I can't make my mind up whether he's brave or has a screw loose. Joe's leaning towards the loose screw  Speaking of Joe, he's gone for a contact lens check and then he's got to go to Halfords to pick up some things he's ordered for his car and he's got college this afternoon.

John's started the day with a dentist appointment. He broke a molar over Christmas and has been worrying himself sick about what would need doing, thinking he'd need a crown (last time he had a crown he passed out), but the dentist has had a good look and says that it doesn't need any treatment so he was very relieved when he called me!

Oh heck Crommers, poor Ellie - let's hope for some good health for you all once she's over this xx

Osc, I hope you enjoy the film as much as I did!

Have a good day all!

Good afternoon everybody.
Went to a funeral this morning. Went early so we could gey parked near the church. There is a ca park for about 2 cars . Had a coffee a a lovely cafe while we waited. It was full when we went into church. Could not hear what the vicar was saying and only knew one of the hymns.
This afternoon have put a cable fo r a dash cam on the rear window of my car. Have still to connect it to the battery so it will only come on when the ignition is on.
Out dancing tonight.
Been cloudy but no rain The wind has dropped so it is warmer than yesterday
