Osc, we had quite a frost last night when we went out with Billy but it was mostly gone apart from one part of the common when I took him again at 6.30am. However, coming back around the corner from the common at 8am, the paths were feeling slippery which they hadn't done 90 minutes earlier.

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here, hoping the snow side steps this area.

Glad your sleep pattern is settling WM.

Well it's Thursday and shopping day already, seems to come round so fast these days. Off shortly to M&S and then Tesco.

Hope you all have a good day :D

afternoon all - too many of you to reply individually so a general hello it'll be

Nippy here too and the next few days are going to be rather cold as well; just as well it's weekend coming up with no need to get up and go anywhere :D

have a lovely day everyone and enjoy all the bits and bobs you're up to or not; whichever the case may be - stay warm xx

Good afternoon everybody.
It is cold. Showed 1.0 degrees in car. But lovely blue sky. Have had a helicopter-looked like an Air Ambulance- circuling round about an hour ago.
Wnt for a check on my eyes this morning. At clinic early as the parking area is full by 8.30 a.m. Appoinment was for 8.30 and I was the first one in. Did the teswt reading the lettes which decrease in size. Can read the third line from the bottom eaily. Struggle with the next one down.
Then I saw one of the consultants. Looked in both eyes with different coloured lights. Then showed me the photos which had been taken in December. There were two green rings as wellas other diagrams. This meant there is nothing wrong with my eyes and I do not have to go again for a check up.
Will go to the optician every year.
Don't wear glasses for reading or distance.
Aftera coffee went shopping at Aldi. After lunch finished fitting a dash cam. I have hidden the cable so there is only a short piece from the headlining to the camera.
Now relaxing in the warmth.

What a completely lazy day

After Heldar left, we lit the fire and sat in front of it - and I've only just got up to make a curry 8-)

Sun now out and it's lovely outside.

Kaz, Joe's probation was up at the start of the month so he just kept going in until he was told otherwise. It's reassuring to know that if he doesn't get a job in engineering when he leaves college at least he's got this to tide him over.
Fingers crossed for Harry!

Saundra, you haven't got to go out anywhere have you over the next few days? No hair appointment or anything?
