Good morning Sunday

Postby Ally » 27 Jan 2019, 07:19

Good morning.

Forecast 22 degrees and sunny. 8-) 8-)

Off for a long walk then back to let Jacob make me poached eggs on toast...he's a dab hand in the kitchen.

Think we're going to wander into the plaza and have a bite to eat in the sunshine and people watch. :D

DOI and Vera tonight. :D

Have a great day everyone.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

A little cloudy at the moment and not going to be as lovely as yesterday. It was so hot, I had to have the awning out, at the bar  8-) Burning my head

Will be ringing the clinic soon, to see which doctor is in. If it's Dr Paulo, then we'll pop in and do some shopping afterwards, as it's still no iva. If not, then it«'s an early breakfast

we have work to do right at the bottom of the filed, level off where we had a huge bonfire, dig up some soil and fill the holes by the pool, as it's on the slide  :? Also move some old estevas that I piled up and then remove some plants that have been just about killed off with the frost

Not a poached egg lover Ally, although Grumpy loves them.

Roast pork for dinner.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Freezing wind here today. I need to buy our neighbour Sergio some beer to pay him back for the wonderful All' Arrabiata sauce he gave us yesterday. Thanks for reminding me Jan!

Son and gf are coming for dinner and we have an old Poirot to watch tonight. The TV recently has been dire, thank God for being able to record programmes!

Have a good day all.

Good morning everyone.

It is bright and clear with not a cloud to be seen, but the wind is strong and bitterly cold.

However, it is a good walking day so that is what I have planned for after lunch.

Cromwell, I was thinking of doing a herby arrabbiata type sauce as part of a meat free day deal I do every so often.

Keep well wrapped and warm everybody xx

Afternoon all, we have the same weather as WM, lovely and sunny but with a strong cold wind. I've washed the car this morning, well, removed the top layer of dirt anyway  I've also done some ironing, and I plan to tidy our bookshelves later, that won't take too long. Otherwise, knitting and this evening it's Dancing with the Stars Ireland and Call the Midwife.

Afternoon all :D

Heavy rain overnight, but it's dry and bright right now.

DOI, Call the Midwife and Vera tonight, great Sunday evening entertainment.

No plans for today, slept in as usual. I'll be doing roast chicken for dinner later. Vanilla blancmange with lemon and lime jelly for pud.

Have a good day :D

Oh well, best laid plans and all that

The sun came out to play, but so did the blasted wind - and a bitterly cold wind at that.

So after being very naughty (we bought half a cooked for breakfast   ) no work was done outside, apart from the car being cleaned. We'll try again tomorrow.

And Grumpy has just been in touch with a friend he last saw almost 40 years ago  8-)
