Moring Ally, morning everyone

Damp and set for the day. Quite mild though.

Off to Ourique early this morning. Pit stop at the bar to get some rolls and then onto the dentist to pay my last instalment. Also to see the dentist as one of my "new" teeth is hurting   a lot :cute: :cute:

Will so the supermarket shopping, then back to do not a lot. Gets boring, when we're used to being so busy. There's only so much you can do in a little house

You'll be glad the exams are over today Ally ? and your students ;)

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all :)

Good luck to your students for the final exam, Ally :) xx

Hope you get your tooth sorted Jan, that doesn't sound good :? xx

No snow here yet Cruiser :cute: x

It's very cold here today, we awoke to thick frost but no snow yet, although it is forecast :? I'm not feeling 100% so might give my walk a miss and stay in the warm - will see how I feel later about Zumba tonight. Becky has gone to the dentist's as well Jan, she needs a light filling which won't need anaesthetic, so is going on to work afterwards.

I booked the airport parking, and bought the holiday insurance last night! :Hi:

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning all. What age range are the exams for Ally? I hope the tooth improves. No snow here Cruiser but very frosty. It's n
always nice to have a holiday to look forward to Kaz.
Jo, yes that is the operation SiL had. He's on a liquid diet for weeks and won't be allowed bread for months. No crisps or hard food for a long time either.

MrsC is off dad wrangling shortly. It's amazing how he can give two people the slip and get lost, especially in an Aldi, but he manages it.

I did some batch cooking yesterday, a bolognese and a beef bourgingon, might do a cottage pie to freeze today.

Have a lovely day all.

Morning all

Ally, good luck for the last of the exams for the kids - bet they (and the teachers) will be pleased they're over and done with.
Jan, and good luck to you as well at the dentist; that doesn't sound right so hope s/he can sort it for you. Say hi to the people at the bar
Kaz, if you're not feeling well then definitely stay in and warm and give Zumba a miss - there are some horrible lurgies doing the rounds and if you overdo it then it's just going to take so much longer to recover.
Cruiser, hope you get all your shopping done
Saundra, how lovely to have Scarlett visit - special times x

What's your address? I'm coming over for dinner - not sure which I fancy most of those three; they all are delicious. I'm hungry now :)
Your poor SIL Crommers; that sounds like a very unpleasant few weeks ahead for him :( hope he manages OK and wishing him a speedy recovery

Well that snow that was meant to be never materialised where I am - or rather we had about 1/2 hour of it last night but it had rained before so it all just melted as it hit the ground. But a super clear night meant a really really hard layer of ice on the car this morning and the roads were rather interesting. But we made it to the station and lo and behold even the trains were running.

A usual / usual for me so nothing much to report. Have a lovely day all and ongoing vibes for the poorlies x

Morning all, it is bright and sunny here but there was a heavy frost overnight and it is very cold with no sign of the frost dissipating. I will be doing housework this morning, then the hairdresser this afternoon for cutandcolour. Later this afternoon, the architect who drew up our plans is calling in as he is putting together some compliance certificates to put with our deeds so I need to do some dusting

I have just booked two tickets for us to go to a tea dance in the Royal Opera House on 1st April so this evening we will be organising flights and a hotel and checking if there is another dance on while we are there (there is probably one in Lambeth Town Hall). I need to return to London as we have not been there since Edward's fainting episode there almost three years ago - although he did wonder if we should be going there just after March 29th what with the food shortages and all

A complete waste of time :cute: :cute:

Had to wait almost an hour for the bread man  But Gez saw our car, so popped in for a chat.

No dentist in today - apparently, it's Wednesday. Yes, and?? No receptionist either. We waited half an hour, as she was due at 10 - but we left at 10.30.

It has eased, but I'll try again next week.

Damp and mizzly here, think we'll be lighting the fire soon.

I'm going to make a pork and pepper dish, for later this week.

Sounds very unpleasant for your sil Crommers - hope he feels better for having it done.
