Good morning Saturday

A place to chat with friends, old and new

Afternoon all, beautiful sunny cold day here. We were at a funeral this morning, the mother of one of my school friends. The lady who died was 95 and her 98-year old sister had travelled from France to be there, along with her (slightly) younger brother. Two other school friends came too, we have all been friends since we were five, after the mass myself and the two other friends repaired to a local coffee shop for tea and chat, Edward having gone home.

Tonight we are going to the musical Calendar Girls, our Christmas present from Miss Osc. Just been checking train times and they are a bit disrupted because of the rugby, the Aviva is the next station along from the one for the theatre, but we'll get there.

Awuh Saundra. I did the tissue thing with a dark wash and spent ages cleaning up using the vacuum and the brush attachment. My jumpers and shirts were not too bad, but my navy blue chinos took plenty of wear and wash cycles before all the fibres came out. You have my sympathy.

Afternoon all! So many posts I will just *wave* as it seems all are fit and well :) xx

A very early start again, for the 8.30 SW meeting! Becky reached her 2st loss today, and was also slimmer of the week! :D :D I'm really proud of her 8-) I didn't do quite as well *sits on norty step* :P

Then we nipped off to see D, who has finished knitting Fraggle's PJ suit! He will look very cute wearing it - it still needs buttons on, so no doubt there will be photos when it's done :P

We're out tonight, to that fancy dress party! The costumes are collected, including the face paints :? ;) Ria asked for pics, so we'll take some ;)

Love to all :) xx

Haha look forward to them!! :D  Have fun - but WOW well done to Becky - that's an amazing amount of loss!! 8-) :D :D

Kaz as I'm always late on parade, I often just 'wave' also - if I even post!!! ;)

Ooo Saundra how annoying!!! If you have one of those lint rollers, they might help, or even good old Sellotape if not x

Work today, but we're having the decorators in - not before time!! So end of the morning was a scrum to tidy things away before they arrived. Monday should be fun......
bit frustrated as boss said I didn't have to go in till late morning so that the paint had chance to dry, but then I reminded him that our audiologist has a clinic this Monday (he's been off sick since October, back on Monday) so I have to open the shop at the usual time and hope the paint has dried!! Just typical.

Tom's off to the dog track shortly so I shall have a soak in the bath and look for something to watch on Netflix, he'll bring a takeaway home with him when he gets back as it'll only be about 9ish.

Enjoy the rest of Saturday xxx
