Going to Plaza Mayor for a spot of retail therapy....lunch will be involved.

It's raining here, so umbrellas out when I venture out in a while to WW. It looks like our meeting venue on a Monday will be closing, thanks to WW internal politics *sigh*, so I'm not sure if it will be continuing at all. I'd been considering whether or not to carry on helping there, now that I go to SW with B, but didn't want to let anyone down. Now the decision might have been made for me, it seems I know A wants to find another venue, so we'll see Em, Jaq and I will still meet up on Mondays, we've decided, for a cuppa and shopping

Quite mild out but a bit dull. Forecast is for it to brighten up after lunch time.

I have just a final tart up to do in the lounge before the new sofas arrive tomorrow. A 2+3 seater combo in black leather. After that it will be an easy day.

Kaz....my good friend Toni (her and Pete are the ones who have an apartment on the Costa) has been a WW bod for years and has been unhappy with the 'politics' of it all over the past couple of years.

She built up a cracking business with them over the past 10 years but WW kept raising the bar.

Enough for her to quit....but! her, Pete and Pierce sold up everything and actually moved to Alba (on the costa blanca)

They've bought a house which they're going to part run as a bed and breakfast and Toni has already started SW classes from there as well.

The internal politics have got silly, they bullied the last leader out, and this new one is young and inexperienced, plus they've altered the diet plan radically - again We've lost a few stalwart members due to this, and are not picking up new ones, so now WW are saying we don't have enough footfall to keep open! Talk about shooting themselves in the door - the SW meeting is always packed!

Morning everyone

Was frosty to begin with, but t hat's gone where the sun is on the garden. Didn't cover any of the plants, so hope they'll be okay.

Will try and get the vacuuming and mopping done this morning, washing machine on and then we're heading outside. A couple of the ground cover plants have died, because of the cold, so will get rid of them and then have a think about what to put in their place.

Some people get a little power and then it just goes to their heads Shame about WW, but as you're happy with SW, then go wit h the flow Kaz.

Morning all. We have a massive transporter parked in the lane outside. The type used for transporting heavy machinery - it must be two cricket pitches long, no exaggeration. It's made the road one way.

Wet and miserable here

I did WW many, many years ago Kaz and even back then they were forever changing the diet plan. The last time I looked at it, admittedly over 10 years ago, you were expected to carry a calculator round the supermarket working out points I'm sure it's changed lots of times since then and I know it works for a lot of people but all the changes don't exactly inspire confidence that they know what they're doing, more a case of lets go with the latest fad. SW is very popular down here, lots of my coffee ladies do it. There are numerous classes available and they all have a good attendance, the most popular one regularly has a footfall of around 120 peeps.

We had planned to go out for a little walk, but...……….

Good afternoon all, it's sunny and quite mild - almost like Spring! It rained first thing though.

I've got some ironing to finish off and we've had a charity bag put through the letterbox this morning so I'm aiming to find some items to put in that this afternoon.

Oh dear Saundra, I hope Iona's Mom makes a quick recovery!
