A very lovely 27 degrees forecast.

After a coffee I'm off for a 10km run....my personal trainer is back on it!

Back to pootle till work 6 - 9.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

A lovely, sunny but windy morning.

We're off to Beja this morning. We have been very lax about our driving licences. Although they're registered, we have to change them, so off we go. Photocopies of our nif, passport, residência, medical form, signed by the doc, atesado. They will take our photos and then we wait. They'll give us a piece of paper to say we can drive in Portugal, for 2 months. When that time is up. we have to go back and get another one But speaking to people, it's normally a bit quicker than that.

Unfortunately, in Portugal, over the age of 70, you have to renew every 2 years. Grumpy needs to renew his in September Mine will be when I'm 65, then 70.

Will pop into Lidl too and stock up on stuff from there and there is Bricomarche, which is a sort of everything shop and we'll have a mooch in there. Still looking for a mirror for the new bedroom.

It is very windy. It had blown one of the bins over in the night and lots of plastic and cans in the road and on our drive. The bin was not ours.
Some ain in the night but there is some blue sky.

Off to Aldi this morning. With a full sail on the car could get there quicker than driving with this wind.

Crommers; same as you I'm done with the wind and cold - I think we should all invade Malaga for a bit - Ally how many people can you put up if we all squish up. And then when it gets too hot there we head on over to Jan

Thanks for the good wishes for our travels - Ally is right, we are out of here before 5am tomorrow Mick is out dropping the dogs at the kennels, then going to pick up Harry Becky is just about to take Noodle to his Skink hotel aka Webbs, the reptile shop in Worcester St. They board reptiles

She's taking him in on the bus, in a large Tupperware type box, but they have nice big heated glass cases there, rather like the one he lives in here. I can't help being glad I won't be sitting next to her on the bus

I've stripped the bed, changed it, had my shower and am about to have a good Hoover and tidy round. Everything is ready to go in the cases later.

I'll check in tomorrow on our travels, no doubt!
