Afternoon all, I have just realised that I never posted yesterday! It is still very windy here and when we were out and about this morning there were gusty squalls of rain. Fortunately everywhere we wanted was in the same retail park. We have decided to get part of our bathroom ceiling replaced as there is still a leak somewhere, and the plasterboard is pretty soggy - we feel that the only way to get it sorted once and for all is to get the slates taken off the roof, leak(s) located and repaired, have new felt put under the slates and then the ceiling over the shower fully replaced. Edward wants to put in a more powerful fan, so that was one thing we got this morning. The builder will come when he comes.
Then I wanted to get a birthday present for my grandnephew. Finally, and very exciting, Edward bought me a new ipad
He's been talking about it for a while, and when we went into Currys, they had 5% off the one we wanted, which was good as you rarely get anything off Apple products, and I had a One4All gift voucher which helped. We also needed printer ink, and I got a new ipad cover. We'll set up the new one tomorrow. Edward is watching rugby now, and we are going dancing this evening.
