Good morning Sunday

Postby Ally » 17 Mar 2019, 06:41

Good morning.

A gorgeous day forecast. 8-) 8-)

Last weekend we met up with a load of friends including Cath & Mick who were flying in on the Tuesday for a week's holiday in Benalmadena so we're going over to meet up with them this afternoon. :D :D We've booked a night in a hotel rather than coming home tonight. :D

Have a great day everyone.

Happy St Patrick's Day. :D

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Another lovely day forecast here too, although maybe not as hot as it has been.

A gentle pootling and doing not a lot day. A late night last night, with a lot of wine  But a huge compliments from the Portuguese about the favas, so feeling rather chuffed :D :D

Gaby fixed everything that needed doing, even down to the central locking  and thinks that the car will last a few more years, with him looking after it. But he'll be looking for another one for us and he knows I prefer automatic, so that's what we'll get :Hi:

Rather uncomfy sitting down,(also moving around  ) didn't realise the bruise was quite so large :?

Roast chicken for dinner :D

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning and Happy St Patrick's Day from Dublin - it is fairly typical St Patrick's Day weather, breezy, cold, sun now but rain forecast. I got a lovely surprise yesterday evening, I was talking to a dancing friend on Friday night and she was telling me that she was bringing a group of special needs teenagers to the dress rehearsal of Dancing with the Star Ireland this afternoon (there are tickets to bring children to the dress rehearsal but I did not know that until this year). She phoned yesterday evening, said two people had dropped out and asked if I would like to go and bring Michael! So any tenuous plans we had went out the window and Michael and I will be heading off later, he is a fan of the programme and I think he will enjoy seeing it all, and he will be home in time for the actual live broadcast. I think I might be more excited than he is  and I don't often get to do something on my own with him.

Not surprised the bruise is big Jan, definitely have an easy day xx
Osc enjoy your trip out with Michael.
Have fun with your friends Ally.

We've been very lazy as usual, had a nice lie in and only just having porridge for brekkie. Roast chicken for dinner later, chocolate blancmange and orange jelly for pud.

Have a good day :D

And Happy St Patrick's Day to you too, Osc. (I shaln't mention the Welsh ….. )

It's in-and-out sunshine here today, but it's still windy and quite cold out of doors. Noticed this morning that the recent gales have actually been strong enough to snap a couple of our hyacinths flower stems off the bulbs! :|

Afternoon everyone :)

We've had a nice lazy start to our day, which is very sunny and warm, but rather windy! We wandered out just before lunchtime and found the main beach area - we'd already found the Old Harbour - and had a snack lunch at a beach side cafe. Then we found a place that books trips, and have booked a short glass- bottomed boat trip tomorrow, to look at sea life, and then a trip to Timanfaya National Park on Tuesday, my birthday :)

I've been in our pool a couple of times - it's heated so very pleasant. Mick, Harry and Becks have been in but we haven't persuaded Chris yet!

Harry is now watching footie on the telly - the only English channels here are news ones but Chris has hacked us into Sky Sports, and has managed to get Netflix from his phone to the telly :ugeek:

Love to all :) xxx
