Good morning Saturday

Postby Ally » 23 Mar 2019, 06:04

Good morning.

Forecast warm and sunny. 8-)

Off for a coastal walk this morning. :D :D

Conor's coming over this afternoon, Jacob around 6, and we're all going out to a jazz/60s festival thingy in el Porton. There's a BBQ there too so should be a fun evening. :D

Hope Mrs E has had her op Cruiser? xx

Have a good day everyone.

Good morning Ally and everybody else.

Mrs. e is having the operation today. Saw the surgeon, a lady and the anathesastit. Mrs. e is confused as she has a unary infection. As she banged her head, the did a scan but could not find anything wrong with her brain or head.
He anesasist said he wil put her out completely.
Can't fault the treatment and service she is getting.
One amusing comment. There is a lady in one of the beds opposite who needs a zimmer frame to walk. But there is a young lady sat with her all the time in case she tries to run away!!
Shopping, washing this morning before I go to the hospital

Morning Ally, Cruiser and everyone

Another lovely sunny morning 8-)

Well Cruiser, running with a zimmer would be quite a feat :lol Hope Mrs E has her op today and the infection clears up soon xx

Houseworkery stuff this morning for me and Grumpy will be putting another row of blocks on the store room. Meeting Mitchell this afternoon, at the bar, to make sure he has the correct paperwork for his licence.

Enjoy the bbq Ally, we have curry - just for a change ;)

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning all, it's a lovely one here.

Joe was up early as he's working 7am-1pm, after working until 10 last night. He doesn't usually work on Saturdays but he's covering someone's shift, then that's him done for a week as he's booked next week off (which is ominous seeing as we're away). Bill's had a long walk, I'm now waiting for the washing machine to finish and then I need to cut my Mom's hair. I also need to call into Tesco and pick up some train tickets for Monday from the machine in Hednesford station. Could get them from Cannock on Monday but if you leave it until the time that you're travelling there's usually a queue and someone faffing about who can't work out how to use the machine (it's an unmanned station so no ticket office) and you're conscious of time running out.

Gardening is on the agenda for this afternoon, and another walk this evening.

Hope Mrs E's op goes well Cruiser!

Have a good day all!

Morning all, it is a very pleasant morning here. We were a bit late up so I am still in my dressing gown, something I rarely do. Edward is trying to fix the chain on our bedroom blind which has broken for the second time, if what he is doing doesn’t work we will have to take it back to the people who made it. I might do some ironing.....or not :P Tonight we are going out for a meal with Miss Osc and SIL - it is to a very well known old restaurant in Dublin, Edward got a voucher for €150 for his birthday last year so we are taking the two of them as both their birthdays are next week. Looking forward to it, this is it

http://www.trocadero.ie

well known as a restaurant where actors go after shows and the walls are covered in signed photos of actors and film stars going back many decades. We first went there when we were going out together, so 50 years ago, and it was very well established then (but much cheaper  )

Hope all goes well for Mrs e, shame about the urinary infection though, as if she didn’t have enough going on.

Afternoon all :D

Another quite dull but dry day.

Good luck to Mrs.E, hope the operation goes ahead today Cruiser.
Well done at SW Kaz and B, great results after a holiday.
Enjoy your meal this evening Osc.

Not much happening here, the ankle is a bit better, but still very sore so another cocktail of drugs this morning. Trying not to do too much so hopefully it will improve a little each day.

Have a good day :D
