A little good news :D :D

When we exchanged our driving licences, we were told the paperwork could take months  and the piece of paper, duly stamped, signed (the Portuguese love their official stamps  ) would last for 2 months. Then we'd have to get it done all over again

Found out today that, instead of having to go back to the IMT office in Beja, the local driving school in Ourique can do it :Hi: :Hi: :Hi:

However, knowing this country, I'm going to wait until I know this for a fact ;) before I celebrate too much 8-) As in, some-one we know has done it.

How much do the Portuguese love paperwork and stamps?

Getting a receipt for a repeat prescription means you get 2 copies of a receipt, both A4 sheets of paper, both signed and stamped  And the printed receipt on that amounts to less than half a page

I just got a WhatsApp from a friend, she, her husband and a friend are in Washington, and I had recommended the rental apartment we stayed in when there in October 2017. She said that they are delighted with it and its location, you never know if others will like the same as you, so I’m glad it has worked out.

Tom's laughing at me here. I've just opened the door to a salesman who asked if I was interested in buying a front door, told him we'd already got some :P

Blimey, I've got a fair bit of stuff to watch on the planner - I've just checked what's on there, first series record I clicked on was Everybody Loves Raymond and there're 63 episodes to watch. There's also The Goldbergs, Big Bang Theory, Speechless, Young Sheldon and Schooled on there with multiple episodes of each
