Good morning everybody.

A bright but chilly morning. Taking Mrs.e out this morning to see the occupational therapist. We will be going by taxi. She will have a shortwalk from the house to the taxi. Will use a wheel chair at the other end as it is too far for her to walk.

Have a good day everybody.

Morning all

Enjoy the lunch Ally - perfect break in a bonkers day
Cruiser, hope all goes well with the OT and glad you have use of a wheel chair; do you have one at home as well in case it's needed?
Jan and Kaz hope you both enjoy your respective days

A cold start to the day here as well. Have to laugh; a group of us were meant to meet up last night. One just emailed to cancel; he lives down in Bexhill and apparently the trains were all cancelled due to one being frozen to the tracks :D :D :D That's a new one for both of us. Suffice it to say; after sitting at Battle Station for an hour he gave up and went home; don't blame him.

I'm off the week before Easter and I'm really really hoping in warms up a bit by then; I'll cry if it's as cold and wet as it is now :(

Continued vibes for the poorlies that may need them. Have a lovely day everyone else xx

Good morning - cold, very wet and miserable here today.

Wessex Water have put down road cones outside the house but nobody has made contact with us to say what's going on. Their website just says they'll be doing "work" sometime between April 3rd (yesterday) and April 5th (tomorrow), but so far there's absolutely no sign of any activity. Your guess is as good as mine!

Hope all goes well with the OT appointment, Cruiser. That's an entertaining one about the Hastings line train, Meriad!

Morning all, it's a bit chilly here! It was bright and frosty with an icy cold wind when I walked Billy earlier but it looks like rain's on the way now. I know we're forecast for a day of it, along with sleet.

Lots of hoovering to do today, the ironing has just been done and I'll clean the bathrooms too. Once I've dried my hair I'll walk over to the post office to post a parcel. I also need to work out what we need from Aldi and Tesco tonight, and plan meals for the week.

Have a good day all!

Morning all :D

Lovely, bright and sunny here 8-)

Enjoyed our meal out yesterday, but definitely picked the wrong day/time. Never seen it so packed, we had to wait almost an hour for a table :o Apparently the 50% offer was only on for a couple of days, yesterday was the last one, looked like the whole of Thanet decided to eat there

Off out to do the weekly shop in an hour or so, M&S then Tesco.

Have a good day :D

Afternoon all, it is verrrry cold here, a strong north easterly bringing the temperature right down. We were a bit delayed coming home yesterday, the incoming flight was struck by lightning on the way into Heathrow  There was another flight an hour later so they started putting people on to that, and declared the flight full just as we got to the top of the queue. However, there were two no-shows so we were the last on the plane and were only delayed an hour in the end. We thoroughly enjoyed our few days in London.

I went to the supermarket this morning while Edward collected Kellie from school. She is not 100%, apparently was awake early this morning with a temperature and feeling sick. However she perked up enough to go to school, but is not very hungry and is having a little sleep in the chair.
