Good Morning Monday

Postby JanB » 08 Apr 2019, 08:01

Morning everyone

Late start, due to being kept awake by the rain  hammering on the roof, off and on all night :Hi: :Hi: More to come today :Hi: :Hi:

Also Molly, dirty stop out, went out at half one this morning and has only just come back in, slightly damp, not as wet as I thought she's be.

Feeling a bit chilly, so heater on  as are the winter woolies I'd packed away

General pootling this morning, then off to the library and then the dentist this afternoon. Ouch. In pocket too

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good news re the rain Jan, the dentist not so much!
MrsC is meeting some relatives this morning and we are going to see the grandchild this afternoon. She's a happy little soul!
Grey here but no rain.
Have a good day all.

Morning you two :)

Glad you've got more rain Jan - that's fab. Not so nice about the cold weather and the dentist though; fingers crossed the day warms up and the dentist goes as OK as can be
Crommers enjoy the visit with the granddaughter x

Grey and wet here today; the garden does need it so I'm not complaining. Just hope it clears up by the weekend as I've got next week off and plan to do lots around the garden; I don't mind if it's overcast / cool (although sunshine would be very much preferred) but I really really don't want it to be raining

Bossman sent an email to say that he's working from home today and then he's at a conference for two days so I won't see him before Thursday :Hi: :Hi: :Hi: . He's been really difficult and quite unpleasant recently; not just me saying that - I don't think there's anyone in the office that's overly fond of him right now which doesn't make for a nice working vibe. It's so different when he's not here; so much more laughter and fun

So besides bossman not here it's a usual / usual for me; bliss

Have a lovely day all xx

Morning all, it was dull and gloomy when we got up but is clearing up nicely now. We are having the children today instead of Thursday, having swapped days with my sister as she only got back from her holidays this morning. I will go to the gym and Edward will collect Kellie as the times overlap by 15 minutes. Today Michael will walk the whole way here from school for the first time, I won’t relax until he rings the doorbell! I need to make some soup, and will tidy around a bit before I go out.

The condemned woman's breakfast ;)

We've just had bacon, eggs, fried potatoes and mushrooms 8-) 8-) That should fill me up, as it's soup for me tonight. Tooth out later :(

Good morning all, it’s dull and breezy here with rain forecast.

Hopefully it’ll stay dry until I get home; I’m just waiting for the bus back from the dentist. Just a check up including X-rays and all was fine. Phew! I actually think that the last time I had a dental X-ray was sometime back in the mid-90s, because I remember getting a call at work about it. I was fascinated to see the results straight away, relieved too because I thought I’d be going home to wait for a call!

And other news which has made me happy is that we can now use contactless on the buses!

Have a good day all!

Morning all...….almost

It's been dull and overcast all morning, looks to be brightening a bit now.

Good luck at the dentist Jan, hope it isn't too traumatic xx

Not much happening here today, need to give the house a bit of a tidy, we're expecting the boys on Wednesday through to Friday. Haven't seen them since Christmas, seems absolutely ages.

Have a good day :D

Afternoon everyone :)

Hope the dentist's appointment goes well Jan xx

Glad yours went well Jo 8-) We've had contactless on our buses for a while - so much easier than having to find the right change all the time!

Enjoy your visit to your granddaughter Crommers :)

Grey and wet here too Ria :( I'm glad your boss isn't in, if he's being such a PITA - it's horrid when the work atmosphere turns sour :(

Well, I'm a bit peeved. I'd already left for the WW meeting when I had an automated text message to say the meeting was cancelled "due to unforeseen circumstances" I then spoke to Emma, who said that Abi (leader) knew last night, but hadn't been able to find our numbers to let us know, hence WW sending out the "No reply" message I'd got earlier. I know she (Abi) has my number in her phone, as we swapped numbers a while back  It would have been nice to know before I set out in the rain

We are already down on numbers since the move to the new venue, stuff like this doesn't help! I carried on with my journey and waited outside the hall, alongside Jacqui who'd also arrived, to let anyone who turned up know, and a few did, but it isn't our job! We're just unpaid volunteers  I can see it closing, to be honest, but then I have SW with B so it's no skin off my nose :? :cute: Rant over!

Mick left early to get his train to Brum, then on to Newcastle. Management meeting this afternoon, then the funeral of their old colleague tomorrow. He'll be back tomorrow night.

Love to all :) xxx
