I reported warm and sunny yesterday but should have said hot and sunny as the heat is really kicking in now. Forecast the same today.

Hubadub and I are going to Plaza Mayor for some retail therapy.

Timing it to end up in Jose's for 4pm to watch the Malaga game then get a Chinese takeaway.

Grumpy will be out laying blocks and I'll do the domestic goddess bit this morning. Been rather lax, because of the teeth hurting, so need to clean everything

A lovely morning here now, but it was very chilly and frosty first thing. MrsC's awol auntie has returned from Benidorm the other one is still in hospital. MrsC is not short of aunties, uncles and cousins.

Good morning, it is bright out there but looks windy and cold - it was very cold when we were coming home from dancing last night. Plenty to do around the house today, and we need to pop up to Miss Osc at some stage as she has to witness Edward’s signature on something, so that can be a walk as well.

Gosh it's really quiet, we didn't wake up until 10.30 Shame the weather didn't behave better while the boys were here, it's lovely bright and sunny today, sods law.

Z and the boys left just after 3pm yesterday so we decided to go off to M&S and Tesco and do the weekly shop rather than leave it until today, glad we did, I'm betting it's manic everywhere. Also meant we could have a good lie in Not much happening, two beds to strip this week so a bit of extra washing and that's about as exciting as it gets.

Good afternoon everybody,

Out shopping this morning. First to M& S on the bus. Then Tesco in the car. After lunch, have steam cleaned the kitchen floor. Will sort out the washing and put this on after dinner. That is in addition to keeping the house tidy and looking after mrs.e.
Had one of her cousins visiting yesterday afternoon, a phone call from a friend this morning. She was on for nearly an hour.
Mrs.e made one to a friend who had sent s a card which arrived yesterday. They have been away on holiday.

SW meeting first thing - 8.30 is a bit brutal on a Saturday, but as the meeting takes over an hour and a half, the 8.30 one was impinging into our usual Saturday moochings, so we swapped to the early one! Becky got her 2.5st award today, so is very happy! I lost half a pound, which was ok.

Then we went for our usual brunch in Corretto's, joined today by my friend Em and her hubby Off to D's after that, only to find our nephew Matt was there, on his way back to Nottingham where he lives now, attending Uni there but lives with his GF and her mum. He's going to do his Masters soon, and is involved with the project to reintroduce Lynx back into the wild in Scotland, so it was interesting to hear about that Home now and chilling out.
