(((((((Ally))))))) You've been so much in my thoughts over the past few days xxxx

Good morning everyone. It's looking dry and a bit brighter here today, still feels a bit chilly for May though :?

Busy day here, I have a parcel to post, so will be going into town, then to see D for our usual Tuesday lunch together. This afternoon I'm catching up with my friend A, who I haven't seen since her trip to Japan, so I'm looking forward to hearing all about that!

Love to all xxxxx

Morning Ally, Kaz and everyone

Another grey start  but yesterday afternoon turned out rather warm. And it's cold for May, here, too, Kaz.

Off to Ourique this morning, as Grumpy needs cement and I need to change my library books. He's got a bad back, so won't be doing too much, but I'll head off to the bank again and carry on.

You and your family are in our thoughts Ally xx

Have as good a day as you can everyone xx

Morning all. Everyone has been thinking of you Ally.
Shopping this morning then a hospital visit this afternoon.
It's a nice morning here after a very rainy afternoon and evening yesterday.
Have a good day everyone.

Morning all, it is dry and bright here but not very warm. Our car is having its NCT (MOT) this morning, it should get full marks for being clean after the going over I gave it yesterday  I’m having a facial this afternoon. Michael and his daddy have gone on a big adventure, over to Liverpool for tonight’s big match on the 8am boat this morning. We will watch the match with Miss Osc and look out for them in the crowd. It is a shame that Liverpool look unlikely to win but Michael will get to see his most favourite player, Lionel Messi, who plays for Barcelona.

Morning all.

((((Ally)))) As the others have said, we've all been thinking of you xx

Had the usual walk with Billy first thing, usual as in usual time but every walk is different as he decides which paths we'll take once he's off his lead  I've got to pick some prescriptions up shortly and also get a stamp from the post office and get John's Mom's birthday card in the post in time for Friday. I also need to order her some flowers, I'm thinking of trying Bloom and Wild as they've got some lovely selections at the moment and, seeing as she's having neighbour problems (yet again), if she's out the box will go through her letterbox.

We went down to the edge of the estate yesterday to see the winding wheel put in place. There was a large crowd there, a lot of people around here have connections to the pit either having worked there themselves or having a family member employed there (myself included, my Grandad worked there until he retired). I think there's going to be a proper opening ceremony next month when the memorial garden is complete but it looks like it'll be really lovely (and much better than the 'sculpture' on the main traffic island as you enter Cannock which, rather than commemorate the local mining past, looks like a pile of scrap metal has been fly tipped.

Have a good day all xx

Morning all

Ally; big ((hugs))

Kaz, Crommers and Osc, enjoy your respective days - Osc a facial sounds bliss; so relaxing!
Jo, take some photo's when you can - it sounds really interesting

Errmmm should he be lifting those cement bags with a bad back? :? :? :?

A sort of usual usual for me. Before I head home I'll be popping over to the lady who is fostering the stray cat I trapped. He's so human shy so I said I'd try pop round as often as I could to help socialise him and get him used to humans. Hopefully I'll be able to go twice after work and then at least once, if not twice over the weekend. Ideally he should be in a crate in someone's lounge where there is constant human traffic but alas hopefully with a bit of time and a few of us doing the socialising he'll come round. He's such a terrified boy - poor thing.
