We have had many discussions about lunch, dinner or tea.

My lunch is at lunchtime, my dinner is a night.

Grumpy, then he was working, had breakfast at 10.00 and dinner at 1.00, then came home for more dinner or tea in the evening.

But I agree - breakfast, dinner, tea and supper.

Lunch is just a made up word, and don't get me started on 'brunch'.... It's for lazy people who get up late. Too late for breakfast, but hungry enough to need food before dinner.
