Good morning Cruiser, and everyone :)

Thursday means food shopping with D, then home to tackle a big pile of ironing   We were up very early as Mick has a meeting in Sheffield, and had to catch a 7am train. He's back this evening. It's lovely and sunny again, I've already got the new bedding I bought yesterday out on the line, and a load of whites in the machine to go out before I leave.

Thinking of Ally today, as she flies home from Scotland (((x)))

Love to all xx

Morning Cruiser, Kaz and everyone

Lovely cool breeze this morning - cold in fact    and we'll have a very manageable 26C later.

Will attack the ironing this morning and then going to make a very different curry for a rather cool Saturday. We are having weird weather at the moment, Having had 34C yesterday, we're down to 21C on Saturday  :?

Might pop down to the bar later, after doing my 100 lengths of the pool. Takes me a few days to get back to that, but with the weather getting cooler, probably won't be getting in over the week-end

Hugs for Ally and her lovely dad xx

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning all, it's another sunny one here.

Housework to do today and I need to look and see what we need from Aldi and Tesco tonight.

We started watching the final series of Mum last night. The BBC put all new episodes on iPlayer at 10pm. John managed three before going to bed and we said we'd watch the last three tonight so the TV was turned off. I tidied up and got sorted for the morning, sat and did a bit of crochet...and then clicked on iPlayer on my iPad at 12.30am and watched the last three  I'll watch them again with John later.

Hope you're feeling a bit better today Saundra xx

Love to Ally and her Dad today xx

Have a good day all!

Morning all

it started off lovely and sunny this morning but now it's going overcast

Thinking of Ally and her family today; it's going to be such a hard day for her :( - safe travels home Ally (((big hugs)))

I'm off to a birthday dinner tonight; note to self - next time check the venue before you agree. It's all the way down in Haslemere so I'm going straight their by train after work and Nadine (my SIL) is collecting me at the station and then dropping me at home afterwards. A bit of a far way out really for a Thursday evening, but hey ho... c'est la vie

Jo; I'm with Saundra on this one - what time did you get to bed? :o :o :o
Saundra, hope the marigolds survive the slugs... if you eat eggs, maybe keep the shells and crush them and then put them around the base of the plants; that could help.

Hope everyone else has a lovely day with the pootling, ironing, shopping, swimming etc that you're all up to xx

Ho, I've been a busy bee!!

Out early as it's my weekly Aquafit, missed it last week with being away, so had some catching up to do, afterwards over coffee as well as exercising!! Love my Thursdays!! Afterwards I called at Lidl for the weekly shop and then had a quick bite of lunch and then walk round to the local cattery to volunteer. There are some new cats since I was there last, I fell in love with Vera.....she's soooo cute!! She got a lot of cuddle...but then so did the others :D I kept shoving washing in and taking it out to hang up between visits home throughout the day, I changed our bed (and put the summer weight quilt on,, which involved going into the loft this pm to sort out), and I changed Jen's old bed.....I rarely change that as she's not there now, but it does get used occasionally, so was due to be changed.

I've bought a radiator cover online, and tonight have been trying to put it together, without success. I don't have the right tools....I need an electric screwdriver - a decent posi one would be better than the one I have!! Tom's out tonight, so I had a soak in the bath 8-)

Thoughts with Ally today xxxx
