Morning Cruiser and everyone

Blowing a hooley still, so feeling rather cool after the last few days. And rather cloudy too

Off down to the bar soon, to have a coffee and wait for the bread man.

Will be the domestic goddess this morning and will also be giving the pool a miss. The water might be okay, but to get out of it into this wind, not a chance

Grumpy is repairing the fence and putting on new netting, to go on the wall by the pool, so nosy knickers next door can't see quite so much.

Hug for Ally and hope Saundra is feeling better xx

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning everyone

No rain here yet Cruiser, but it's expected. It's definitely a much duller start to the day
Jan, hope the bread man turns up and don't blame you for giving the pool a miss... your neighbour does take the cake he really does; wonder what kicks he gets from constantly staring at you / your house / your life. He really is very very odd
Jen, have a fantastic day just lazing - sounds absolute heaven to me

Friday lunch today = pizza; yum. Off for Ollie socialising after work and then home and feet up; can't wait. A plodding weekend ahead which is nice; out a lot on Saturday but Sunday no plans whatsoever so it'll be allotment and gardening time.

Thinking of Ally, Saundra hope you're feeling better... and vibes and hugs for anyone else that may need some today xx

Morning all :)

Enjoy pootling, Cruiser :)

Hope you get all your jobs done Jan, sounds busy! xx

Jen that sounds so relaxing - enjoy! 8-) :D xx

Thoughts are with Ally ((((x))))My

Ris, pizza sounds good, and I hope the weather is too, for the allotment on Sunday :) xx

I'm thinking of popping into town for a haircut, then I have housework to do - but at least I cleared a big pile of ironing yesterday so that's sorted ;)

Have a good day everyone xxx

Morning all.Jan - nosey knickers!
Grey and cooler here today. In a mo I'm off to do the big shop, after that we'll see. Hopefully we can get through the day without one of MrsC's eternally baffled relatives ringing up for advice. They've never been off the blinking phone this last week. It's because her uncle Harry, the family guru / rich bloke is on holiday in Gran Canaria. MrsC must be first reserve!
Have a good day all.

Good morning all, it's raining here at the moment.

Me and Billy had a lovely long walk before it started (although it'd rained during the night too but not enough to make the paths muddy). I'm now waiting for a new oven to be delivered. Our's broke on Saturday and I've been getting by with the Instant Pot and the airfryer. Can't complain though as it was fitted by the builders so we've had 8+ years of use out of it, we've replaced the grill element in the past but this problem seemed a bit bigger than that as it was tripping the circuit even if we so much as turned the dial on it (when the element broke previously it was just a matter of it not getting warm). I didn't want to spend a lot as I don't use the oven very much and we could get a decent new one for what it'd probably cost to get it repaired. That should be here in the next couple of hours anyway, the van is currently in Stafford and they've got five deliveries to make before getting here - I love order tracking like this

Kaz, I've cancelled a hair appointment I'd made for tomorrow. I made it when I last had it cut at the beginning of March, I'd had 3" cut off and liked it for a day or two before deciding that I'd lost too much length  I like the length it's now at so it seemed daft to go and get it trimmed again and it's not in desperate need of a tidy anyway - apart from the fringe which I can tackle myself.

Have a good day all!

Happy birthday to your granddaughter Saundra :) Hope you are feeling better xx

Jo I'm a bit fed up with my graduated bob and fancy a change! Eek! :? Am sitting in their waiting area now 8-) My blonde is darker at the moment as well, so I'm going to go blonder again this weekend! I've bought the extra light blonde colour!

Kaz a few weeks ago I used a colour on my hair couldn't get my normal one
Nice and easy
So I got a bright blond one in a blue box something told me not to use it but I did
My hair was nearly white then brassy streaks eek
In the end I brought a silver toner and use it every few times each week now I like it but I won't be using that colour again be warned
