Good Morning Wednesday

Morning everyone

Lovely sunny morning and a warm day forecast 8-)

Off to Ourique after breakfast. Not too much running around this morning, for a change. Just the centro de saude to pickup prescriptions, the big Chinese shop for a couple of things, the chemist for the tablets and then to Pingo. Pit stop at he bar on the way back.

If it's reasonably cool, I'll finish off the weeding, That should be the last of it, until the autumn. The "lawn is already crisping up.

Beef, mushroom, leek and cauli in the stir fry later, with some rather spicy noodles I found.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Steady away with the weeding Jan, take care of your back.
MrsC has taken the car into our local garage to change the brake fluid and check the pads. Then she and her sis are taking their dad round Aldi. I'm going to be in on my own but there are worse things in life. I can do a bit of weeding of my own in the bills and correspondence drawer, there's tons of stuff in there that could do with shredding. Then maybe sit in the garden for a bit as it seems to be brightening up a bit now.
Have a good day all.

Half the time I don’t know what day it is

Morning all, it is a dull morning here. We are hoping that the builder will arrive today as he said he would, to take down the bathroom ceiling, finally find the leak, and put in a new ceiling. He has said he would be here but we are not holding our breath  I am getting my eyebrows done at 11am, then it’s the gym. Edward will collect Kellie from school, she still has a very heavy cold but wanted to go to school, and Michael will walk down when he is finished in school - Miss Osc will collect them between 3.30-4. She has her official law society audit today and tomorrow, which is stressful for her.

  I was getting a tad confused - and it really doesn't take much these days!

What - no more weeding? whatever are you going to do with all that spare time. :D
Hope you get all the bits and bobs done and find what you're looking for in the Chinese Shop - that place really is fab!
Crommers; enjoy the me time; even if it is spent going through paperwork to shred - you don't get much time for yourself so enjoy!
Osc, fingers crossed the builder does turn up; and good luck to Miss Osc for the audit; never nice but I'm sure she'll pass with flying colours!

Well after the board meeting and a really busy day yesterday I'm hoping for a much calmer and quieter one today; got loads of bits and bobs to do and just not in the mood so keep putting them off - sigh.

More cat socialising on my way home and then home by 8pm and feet up!

Have a lovely day all x

Good morning all (well, it was morning when I started typing).
It's bright and warm here.

I've done some shopping this morning and I've got a Tesco delivery coming this afternoon. I've never done a home delivery before but John's away in Sunderland for a couple of days so I thought this would be easier. I'll get another walk in for Billy before then, Joe's just gone to drop Amanda at college and both he and Tom have work later.

Saundra, that's a worry! I remember the fall in trade when the pits closed around here, I was also managing a shop at the time. Let's hope he's not affected xx

Have a good day all!

It's too hot to be outside now  so the weeding will have to wait.

A worry for you all Saundra :(

Ria, there's always something to do, just have to do it early in the morning 8-)
