Good Morning Monday

Postby JoM » 27 May 2019, 06:38

Morning all! It’s cloudy here at the moment, I think rain is forecast for later in the day.

I don’t think there are any plans for today. Joe’s off out with Amanda and her family later and Tom has work at 5pm so I’ll do our main meal at lunchtime.

Have a good day all xx

Morning Jo, morning everyone

Dull and grey here as well Jo and rain expected from midday onwards. I'll get down to the allotment asap so I can strimm the grass a bit before it gets wet and hopefully get in a few more veg plants; but don't think I'll be spending half the day there as I hoped. Bought some flowers at various garden centres the past few days so want to get them into pots; but that I can do in the greenhouse.

Enjoy the family lunch Jo

Have a good day everyone and enjoy whatever it is you're up to xxx

Morning both! We have no plans either Jo. Ria, enjoy the allotment. I know no-one really enjoys rain but here at least we really did need it. The garden has perked up immeasurably since we had some.
Sunny now, but looking at the clouds away to the west that might not last for long.
We may go on some family visits later.
Enjoy the bank holiday everyone!

Morning everyone

A lovely sunny and warm already morning - will be hitting 36C later this week

I forgot it's a bank holiday over there, was wondering why you weren't at work Ria ;)

Done the watering, then Grumpy needs a haircut and we're popping into Ourique to get some cement, so he can start on the rendering. Will get more beer too

Will get some washing done when we're back - no point doing it before we go, the washing line is in the way

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all :)

Have a nice one Jo :)

Ria, hopefully the rain will keep off, it's looking a bit hit-and-miss here too :? Still at least you have your greenhouse plants 8-) :)

Morning Crommers :D

You sound nice and busy Jan :)

Well we've had a great, if busy, weekend so far :) I'm quite tired now though so a more laidback day, with brunch out, and a visit to see D sounds appealing :) I have some washing to peg out, so am hoping it doesn't rain, but it's looking a bit changeable......

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Afternoon all, I never got a chance to post this morning as I was doing different bits and pieces before I went to the gym. I had left bedding out on the line overnight as there was no rain forecast until 2pm - luckily I took it in before I went to the gym because there was a really heavy shower. There has been quite a lot of rain since I got home. The guy has arrived to fix the shower in the downstairs bathroom, which is good, turns out he is the guy who installed it 4 1/2 years ago when the original one didn’t work. Also, it is still under a five year guarantee which is even better.

Ironing to be done this afternoon, and getting the spare room ready for Kellie’s five night stay next weekend.
