Good Morning Wednesday

Morning everyone

Gorgeous morning 8-)

Watering done and we're off to Ourique later this morning, before it gets too hot. Our normal run around everywhere, but I think a visit to the police station is also on the cards. They haven't moved the dog that is kept penned up, as requested, and we've both been awake since 3.00 am

Flan making when we get back and as we're having a heatwave, it's salad for the rest of the week.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good Morning Wednesday

Postby JoM » 29 May 2019, 07:05

Good morning all, it’s dull here with rain forecast for late morning onwards.

I’m out with Billy at the moment and then I’ve got to wait for deliveries from Tesco and Amazon. There’s plenty of housework to do to keep me occupied.

Have a good day all xx

Good morning both. Take it steady in the heat Jan, and a salad sounds just the job. Jo, plenty of housework to do here too but we're jgnoring it atm!
Shopping soon for me. MrsC is going with her sister to their dad's. He has been awful this last week, really grudging and resentful and selfish. My MiL predicted that he would have his daughters running round after him all the time if she died, and she was right.
Anyway, it is a lovely morning here today, sunny with blue skies. I always thing that May and June are the best months. Warm weather and all the beautiful fresh new greenery.
Have a good day everyone.

Morning you two :) I merged your morning threads :D

Jo, the weather here is the same

Jan, you're doing the right thing by reporting the neighbours - people like that give responsible dog owners a bad name  Good luck xx

Morning Crommers, your weather sounds lovely, enjoy! :D Your FiL sounds like hard work - I think we're lucky with D, if anything she has a horror of being a "nuisance" to us, which of course she never is xx

My sore throat has gone, but I seem to have been left with a bit of a cough  I'm wondering now if it was a virus rather than hayfever  We'll see as the summer progresses, I suppose. Into town this morning for a cuppa with a friend, then I might pop in to see D on the way home.

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Good morning all, it is strange weather, fairly bright but mizzley and there is rain forecast for later. I’ve been out to the post office and done a bit of shopping (for things I forgot yesterday  ) Off to the gym shortly and going to the hairdresser this afternoon. In between, I have a couple of phone calls to make and also the ironing to do that I didn’t do yesterday.

Greetings all (not morning anymore - oops!)

Crommers, is your FiL about to get out and about on his own or is he reliant people for everything? Just wondering if he can be encouraged to do something that may make his life a bit more 'less to grumble about'? But then some people (like my neighbour Ann) seem to be happiest when they're able to moan about something :?

Jan definitely time to have a word with the police and hopefully something will be done; not just about the dog but also the other animals he has and isn't looking after.

A very dull day here - not sunny but not grey and not raining; it really can't make up it's mind. So a usual / usual for me (for now that is) .

Have a lovely day all and enjoy all the bits and bobs you're up to. Glad you're feeling a bit better Kaz x

We spoke to an incredibly understanding policeman, who knew where we lived and knew the house we are having problems with.

He gave me the station phone number, to ring at any time, day or night  about the noisy dog(s).

I said I'd rather not, as it's pretty petty, when they have better things to do, but he said that it's their job ;)

He is on desk duty today and off for two days, but is going to come out on Saturday and have a word with them :Hi: :Hi: :Hi:

Ria, although the land is bare, he does feed the animals with bought in stuff. Just not fresh.

Rather warm now and I'm heading to the pool 8-)

Good afternoon all.

I've been busy this morning getting things read for my Golden Oldies Music Night tomorrow. You can't beat the good old songs, can you?

Hope you are all O.K..
