More selfish than mad as far as I'm concerned. Those poor kids

Not a hope of me doing that - selfish people.

Been a lovely day 8-) Bit chilly, even put a cardi on earlier, but the wind came and went, as did the clouds.

Did I say no weeds?    I filled 8 bags - albeit smaller than normal, so make that 4 big 'uns   with grasses that were around the store room and some of the fence. I intend to carry on tomorrow, up the bank. Need to make sure I leave some, as Molly uses it to sleep on and hide in.

No post down at the bar, but a lot of people in there, cork cutting time. Ours won't be ready until next year, at the earliest.

We have run out of boxed red wine   so are drinking white, which is not my favourite. Thank heavens we're going shopping tomorrow   We do have some bottles of red, but they're ready for a special occasion ;)

Favas for dinner and Grumpy wants to try it with chips :o :o  so chips it is

Hi all - been horrendously busy at work today. I think the older I get, the less confidence I have and several times today I could feel my mouth go dry and my face warm up....AND I had a sidekick which was just as well, I'd never have managed on my own!! I wish wish wish I was able to retire......I'm dreading the idea of working for the next 7 or 8 years :(

Moan over - oh apart from it's raining!!

Got to think about what to make to eat.....any suggestions? Something easy and quick?

Osc we had the grandkids for a few hours on Sunday (you may have seen my posts on FB) and like you it was lovely but a relief when they went home! There was a drama involving Amy (of course!) which they witnessed, so we went to Donna's to help out and make sure they were ok. They're so beautiful and innocent, what a shame to make them see that sort of crap :(

too late now obviously Gal but for next time - the summer in the winter chicken dish is divine and so simple to make. Or even just plain pasta with pesto and some parmesan shavings with it....

I sometimes melt down philly or boursin cream cheese with herbs, in a saucepan with a drop of milk, then stir it into hot pasta. Very quick, really tasty xx
