Good Morning Friday

Postby JoM » 21 Jun 2019, 06:40

Good morning all, it's very sunny here.

I'm just back with Bill, the washing machine is on so hopefully that won't take too long to dry so that I can get it all ironed. I want to cut the side lawn this morning so I'll dig over the borders out there too. Inside I need to hoover, I'll leave that until later when both lads have gone to work though.

Joe went over to see Amanda yesterday, she failed her second driving test so she was fed up. She wants to pass before she goes to university and time's running out as the next availability for a test is the end of August so she's hoping for a cancellation before then :(

Kaz, don't hang about with those symptoms. Please get seen xx

Have a good day all!

Morning all :)

Jo we have sunshine too :Hi: I'll get some washing out too, make the most of it 8-) Honestly, I'm fine now, I was fine yesterday, went to Pilates last night. I promise if I get so much as another twinge I will go xx

Commiserations to Amanda about her test, B is hoping to be test ready again soon, she's spent an absolute fortune on lessons :(

I think a nice walk in the sunshine is in order, it feels like ages since we saw any!

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning both. Our lawns could do with a cut too Jo. Kaz, we have sun too but also lots of cloud.
Off to Sainsbury's soon for the weekend shop, pub lunch this afternoon. We'll do a bit of tidying in the garden this afternoon.
Have a good day all.

Morning all

sunshine sunshine sunshine yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kaz, I agree with the others; please make an appointment at the GP asap. The next twinge may end up being more than just a twinge - not worth risking it, it really really isn't. Yes it may turn out to be nothing worse than bad heartburn but rather safe than sorry. So pick up that phone, please!!!!

Jo, your day sounds a pleasant busy one - I wish I were home today. Have a friends birthday lunch tomorrow so that more or less rules out doing much tomorrow so Sunday will be a busy garden / allotment day - I sooooo can't wait.

OOh, Crommers - perfect day for a pub lunch. We're having burgers for our Friday lunch today; so I'll pretend it's a pub lunch :D

Have a lovely day all xxx

Morning all, sun and cloud here and mostly warm. I’ve a busy day ahead - gym shortly, then to the cafe for lunch. I have to collect Michael from school and Edward from the golf club, then bring them to Portmarnock Golf Club where the Amateur Open is on. Miss Osc will collect them as Michael has a football match at 6.30, and we are going out dancing at 6.45, so a bit of a rush organizing dinner. The plumber called in this morning to say he would be here in the morning, he was waiting for a part but the suppliers say they can’t find it in their warehouse although their system shows they have 12 of them - they say they don’t want to order more until they find the lost ones  So he is going to replace the manifold (I think). Dancing tonight and a celebration as the host of the social is retiring from his job in the army today, so that will be a bit of fun.

Morning all...…..almost :D

Bright and sunny here 8-)

It's like a Chinese laundry here, I think it multiplies while I sleep  Not much else happening, might get out in the garden later.

Have a good day :D

Hear hear!!! Do you think Ria if we keep on at her, she'll do it????

It's been lovely here today - a proper Simpsons sky, and warm, if a little breezy this morning. I went to Wynyard Gardens and café to meet my sister in law Kath, whom I've not seen since before Christmas - truly shocking given they only live half an hour away! :? We had a looooong chat, a lovely morning together - 3 full hours!!! 8-) :D I had to leave when I did purely as I had some errands to run before we go to the caravan tomorrow for 2 weeks (weather permitting!!) and also to drop a colleague's birthday card off at her home just outside Durham - so I nipped into town and had another coffee there as I was ready for it by then after all the chatting!!

Tom's taken the dogs to the farm for their holidays and when they come back we should have a new kennel in place for them, and not before time!! They've been almost living in the conservatory while the weather has been so wet. (the current kennel is long overdue replacing)

Have a lovely (long) evening all xx
