Good morning Sunday

Postby Ally » 14 Jul 2019, 06:32

Good morning.

The weather has been really nice since I've been here and it looks like another one today. :D

A full English breakfast is on the cards then we're going to have a walk round a country park. There may be cake scoffed in the tea house.

A couple of beers in town tonight and we'll decide where to go for dinner.

Have a great day everyone.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Cool and grey this morning  About 10.00 ish, the clouds will go and it will be a warmer day - I hope

Grumpy already out working on the new store room and I'll stick some washing in the machine at some point, apart from that, not a lot to do. Might wander around the garden and dig up - if I can  - some weeds. Not many, but get rid of them now, although the ground being rock hard, might make that a bit difficult ;)

Skyping with Julia at some point today and my brother wants us to get whatsapp, so he can send me photos of the work they've done on their new house. Will try and sort that out too, maybe, if I'm in the mood for being technical ;)

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all. Grey but warm here. Chicken for dinner later, we've got a big one but only sister in law is turning up!
Looks like chicken curry tomorrow!
Might watch the cricket later, the coverage is very different from the days of Richie Benaud though.
Have a good day all.

Good morning all, it's dull and drizzly here.

Bill's had his walk and John's gone out for a bike ride, the lads and girlfriends are still sleeping so I'm in the kitchen, think I'm on my 4th coffee, and I'm watching This Country on iPlayer. We bought a smart TV for in here last week so it's getting a fair bit of use  I'd rarely have the TV on in here before.

Not sure what we're doing this afternoon.

Joe's track day was great. He drove a Nissan GT-R, which is his dream car, and a Mustang GT500. I don't think he's quite so keen on his little Punto now

It's chicken and salad here today, I'm not sure how many I'm feeding yet though. Joe and Amanda probably won't be here but if there's a meal going you can bet that Tom and Shannon will be first at the table!

Have a good day all!

Morning all...….almost

Dry, but not very bright. Yesterday stayed miserable all day and then the sun came out around 4ish, think it will be much the same again today.

Gave the house a blitz yesterday, plan to get out in the garden to brush and hose down the lawn later. Roast chicken, new pots and salad for dinner, raspberry blancmange and jelly for pud.

Have a good day :D

Afternoon everyone :)

I had the washing on, and then pegged out on the line quite early. B has since done her work uniforms (my wash was white, so they couldn't go in together) and so we have a full washing line. Mick and I then popped out for a cuppa and the papers, then to B&Q for another box of bathroom tiles, as we slightly underestimated.

Currently watching last night's Inspector Montalbano on the iPlayer, then I am planning lamb chops, mash and lots of veg followed by apple crumble (SW style) and low fat custard for our late lunch/early dinner 8-)

What a lovely afternoon 8-)

Chatted to Julia via skype, also with the grandchildren - not for long, too busy playing

Then another long conversation with middle son - the one who is going to be a grandfather in a couple of months. Heard the tale of woe and it really is very sad, but his ex-wife has got what she wanted, a house and one of the children :cute: :cute: Had a long chat about what he and his son will be doing in the future and it was lovely to see him. Not chatted for ages.

Change of plan re dinner, Grumpy thought we were having steak pie, not steak  So we're having the steak pie   The steak can wait until tomorrow ;)
