Good morning Sunday

Postby Ally » 21 Jul 2019, 05:20

Good morning.

Long may this lovely weather continue. 8-)

I've devised a nice wee route for my run. It includes three bridges (another nerdy thing I like ) and 10km in total so win-win.

Off to my uncle Vic's and his lovely partner Bernie today. A traditional roast beef Sunday lunch is on the menu along with my absolute favourite dessert.... Eton mess. :D

Have a great day everyone.

Good morning Ally and anybody else who is up.
I used to go to Glasgow when I was workinh. We had an office in Sauchihall Street.

It is cloudy but the sun is rying to come out.
We went dancing last night. Mrs.e managed to do some of the easy ones were there is not too much turning.

Going to Aldi this morning. Will mow the lawn if it stays dry.
Have a good day everybody.

Morning Ally, Cruiser and everyone

Sunny but windy, so feeling cool.

Watering done and just watching the news about the fires up north - the people who light these things should be locked away for life :cute: :cute: Actually, the people the police know about, who light fires every year, are actually locked up in May, until September :Hi: :Hi:

Another not a lot day :Hi: Athletics this afternoon and will get in the pool if the wind drops - we're on a hill, so can feel very cold in the wind.

Enjoy your lunch Ally :D We're getting the hot stones out and having steak on that 8-)

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Cool and breezy here too. Your Uncle Vic should open a restaurant Ally! Morning all.

I had a nice night out last night, a quiet day ahead today. Sunday lunch later and watching a bit of sport. It would be nice if that Irish lad won the golf.

Have a good day all.

Morning all :D

Lovely and sunny here 8-)

We did a bit of a tidy in the garden yesterday afternoon, plan to just sit out and enjoy the sun today. Been a bit cross with M&S the last few weeks, the rotisserie chicken has been repackaged, much smaller but the same price  It's not just the cost, we're happy to pay it, but for the money we do want it to last a good two days. Bought one this week as it's on the meal deal so will be having it with new pots and salad later. Strawberry blancmange and blackcurrant jelly for pud.

Have a good day :D

Good afternoon all, it's warm here with sunny spells.

The bathroom fitter did a good job yesterday, it was really straightforward so all he has to do tomorrow is put the panelling up, connect the shower and fit the glass panel. I'm sure Bill's tail was wagging as he saw the bath disappear through the door

Tom's at Shannon's until tomorrow and Joe's at work. He and Amanda went to see the new Lion King film last night and he said it was very good. I can't say that I've ever watched the original cartoon one all the way through. I've never been a fan of Disney cartoons, although I love the Disney Pixar films, so would pick up a book at some point if they were watching one when they were little.

John's just back from his bike ride so we're off into Stafford shortly for coffee and cake. Our furry little friend will be with us and will no doubt drag us from the car and straight to Coffee #1 for his usual window seat

Jen, that's very sneaky of them! Aldi have done something similar with the ham which John likes. It used to be 6 slices (120g) for £1.09 and now it's 5 slices (100g) for £1.19.

Have a good day all!

Afternoon everyone :)

The weather has brightened up beautifully since we were out this morning, so I've just stripped our bed and put a wash on. Mick is watching last night's Inspector Montalbano, but I think I'll go and sit out on the decking with the newspaper 8-) Lamb chops and Greek salad for our meal later :)

Been looking at mini-breaks - we fancy Devon for September and maybe a city break for M's birthday in November :) We're also going down to Weymouth for a weekend next month, to M's brother's :)

Ally I have a magazine open beside me with an advert for a Waitrose Eton mess, made with raspberries - looks delicious :D

Jan, they should throw away the key for those eejits!

Cruiser, it's great to hear that Mrs E is dancing again :)

How are you feeling, Saundra?

Have a good one, Crommers :)

Jen, that is pretty sneaky of them! :?

Jo I loved the Lion King, one of B's favourites! Not surprising really ;)

Hope you all enjoy the rest of your day :) xxx

Kaz, if you want a city break in the UK, get yourselves up to Glasgow!
