Morning Cruiser, morning everyone

Dull, grey and not warm  so we had coffee in bed this morning.

Cooked breakfast for a treat and then heading out - wrapped up - into the garden. Need to re-pot some chillies and peppers and put a red carnation we've been nurturing, into the garden too. Will take a couple more cuttings, as most things take without any problems. Got 6 roses on the go, a couple of ferns, a couple of some sort of honeysuckle bushes and a small tree. As well as loads of chillies and peppers.

Depending on the weather, which is supposed to be sunny and warm  will decide on to eat and cook outside on the hot stone or cook the mat on the hob.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

It's just stopped here Cruiser after raining all night. Carnations are lovely Jan and I'm glad the temperature is more bearable for you Saundra.
Our daughter and Eliza are coming for dinner. She got a toddler and two dogs to look after, she doesn't need to be making dinner as well.
Our son gets back from yet another stag do - three days in Hamburg - tonight. I must sound like Mr Grumpy but I don't get this fashion at all. Stags? There's fifty and sixty year old men going, the silly sods.
Have a good day all.

Hi everyone :)

Just sitting outside Highfield garden centre, enjoying the amazing views :) We've come to help D choose the right plant to enhance her new front wall. Mick and D are queuing in the cafe, and I'm saving us a nice table 8-)

Love to all :) xxx

Morning all :D

Overcast and a bit cooler here.

Well as you can see we're well and truly back to normal, had a long lie in and only just had brekkie 8-) Much as we love having the boys and we really do, it's quite tiring, definitely brings our increasing age into focus. At least they don't get us up at 6.30am these days, guessing that will get even better as they get older. Can't believe Zachery will be 15 in a few weeks time :o I keep telling him there should be a rule about it, grandchildren aren't supposed to grow up, lucky for me he still likes nanny hugs ……...but not in public

Our day will continue in an extremely lazy fashion, I do have the spare room bedding in the wash, but that's about it. We're not having a roast for dinner, it will be our usual Saturday meal, jacket potato, ham and cheese omelette and baked beans, nice and easy. Choccy blancmange and orange jelly for pud……..wouldn't be Sunday without our weekly treat

Have a good day :D

Afternoon all, we are at Southampton airport waiting for our flight home. Usual hassle about the carryon bag, I think they have changed the size cage since we came through in May, as a case which fitted into it in May and was passed acceptable only two weeks ago in Dublin (we had kept the Dublin sticker on the case purposely) suddenly cannot be carried on  However, we stood our corner and they put it into the hold free of charge. Honestly, why do these small airports try to act as if they a major international one :|

Anyway........we had a fantastic cruise, lots of fun, lots of dancing, lots of (too much ;) ) good food and we met some really lovely people. Can’t wait for our next one
