Morning everyone

Dull and grey start to the day again But it brightened up nicely yesterday, so hopefully it will again later.

Will do the watering after we've had a coffee, then will have to think of things to do. Will probably put my working boots on and climb the bank, cutting back the ice plant and have a tidy up.

a sunny day here; but apparently as of tomorrow it'll be dull and rainy.

Jan, hope you get the bank sorted; the cutting I took from you last year was flowering the other day but I forgot to take a photo. The flowers aren't quite as big as they are at yours but still very pretty.
Good luck with the dentist Crommers; and agree - Mrs C got the better deal today

Morning all we've had loads of rain at least I don't have to water it and think it's set for the day

Morning all, I am trying to put off the inevitable moment when I need to finish unpacking, however I did a wash load last night which is out on the line on this lovely warm sunny day. Edward has gone walking to the golf club, calling to Miss Osc's house on the way to water her plants as they are away down in Wicklow. The plumber texted the other day to say he would be here today to service our boiler so I have to stay in. Better get moving!

Beautiful sunshine here today B has the day off so is coming with me to meet E and J for lunch, am waiting for her to finish her shower, as she's just got back from the gym. Perfect drying day, so I have a load of whites in the wash.

Still grey a little lighter grey, but grey warmish though, as I'm glowing slightly

Two big garden bags full of ice plant cuttings for the bin. Cut some daisies back too, it's a very hardy one, so I've taken some cuttings and hope they take.

Grumpy bashing the wotsits out of the roots of the tree he cut down. Such a difference, having it gone, never liked it anyway

Morning all

Bright and sunny here

We need more fresh stuff, fruit etc. Couldn't get some of our usual buys last week, our large Tesco had a problem with the fridges/freezers in the heat, most of them packed up and they were busy emptying the shelves while we were there. We're planning to drive to the smaller store today so hope everything is working there. On the way back we'll probably park up on the clifftop for a gentle stroll.
