Morning all :D

Rather dull and overcast, think it's supposed to brighten later this afternoon.

Glad you had a lovely day Kaz.

Crommers I hope they get it sorted soon. We hear a lot of horror stories round here about new build problems, Persimmon in particular. We were so lucky with our last house, there were a few snagging issues when we moved in, but nothing serious. Our builders were on site for 2yrs, further down from us so no noise, mess etc, and were very friendly and happy to fix any problems. The site manager won best site award for the two years so that obviously helped.

Soooo jealous Jan.

We need to renew out passports. It's easiest to do it online these days, but the photos I took here at home weren't accepted (too small, wrong lighting etc etc) so off to the instore photo shop in Tesco. Apparently they do digital ones and you get a code to download to the online renewal application, a bit of a palaver but hey ho...…..

Have a good day :D

Jen, we had those photos when we renewed our passports. It was amazingly easy to do, just put the code in and the photo was there and they were already approved as soon as the store took and uploaded them as the code was issued by the Passport Office.

re the timing; have you changed your setting in the Control Panel and ticked the box to say that BST is in effect?

Jan, what is the glass roof tile for? Is this for the workshop down by the veggie patch?

For some reason, none of the cash points in Ourique had any money apart from Pingo and there was a huge queue, so we didn't bother. Nearly all ways found this to be the case when we were in Madeira

Yes Ria, so we can see when inside ;)

Will be putting the rest of the tiles on in the morning :D

We need to renew our passports later this year too, so need to find somewhere to take the photos.

Good afternoon verybody.
Am having a lazy day.
Had some rian in the night butwe have sunshine.
We renewed our passports two years ago. Got the photos put on a memory stick. We can use them when we have to register when we are going on a cruise.
Wetake the memory stick with us so we have photos if we ever lose our passports.
Am getting quotes for our car insurance. Have got one which is cheaper than last year. So may go for that one.
