A strange cheese!

Postby Workingman » 13 Aug 2019, 10:44

I was in Home Bargains getting my usual dose of Afterburner (cheddar with chilli flakes) when I noticed this strange coloured cheese. It turned out to be....Chip Shop Curry Cheddar, I kid you not, and at £1 a throw it had to be tried. :o

It is actually not that bad. It's not an everyday cheese, but for a BBQ or party it would make tasty and interesting nibble. ;) 8-)

I wouldn't mind trying that - a little bit creamy, perhaps?

Plenty of "fancy" cheeses on sale down here if you know where to look …. :D

Imagine you have some left over curry sauce from your fish and chips and as an experiment you grate in some mild cheddar and heat it through....
