Morning Ally, Saundra and everyone

Cooler this morning :Hi:

Problems with tootsies Saundra? Put them up above your head too xx

Watering done, to the sound of many guns  Hunting season is on us and there were two groups around, from 7.00 this morning.

Grumpy will be sorting the pool out this morning, I might just get he cleaning done and out of the way. Treating ourselves to a cooked breakfast this morning :Hi:

I have a lump of beef for dinner, not a cut you've ever heard of or seen before :?   so I'm undecided about cooking it. Slice it into medallions or just roast it. Will decide later.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, we're forecast 29c here today.

I've got itchy hayfever eyes (and I don't remember anything affecting me before, this late in the season) and the headache I always get in hot weather. Just need the rash I usually get on my arms from sun sensitivity to complete the hat trick, although I'm trying to avoid that by wearing long sleeved tops and staying indoors as much as possible.

It sounds like Joe and Amanda are having a good time at Leeds. I watched a bit of the coverage on iPlayer last night, although I think most of that was from Reading, and I'd heard of Post Malone and knew that Joe was looking forward to seeing him but hadn't heard anything he'd released and I was impressed. And bless him, one of Shannon's favourite bands were playing yesterday so he recorded some of their set for her. She'll be chuffed to bits.

Have a good day all!

Morning all, it's going to be hot here too. In a while I'm off to B&Q for a new extensions cable. We're getting a hedge trimmer to battle the neighbour's mile a minute clematis which cascades over the back fence and the old cable isn't long enough.
We had a nice holiday last week at Sandsend, it was a nice sociable time. Even the dogs got on!
Whitby is getting very busy though, it's very popular now.
Watching the motor bikes and cricket today, nothing else much on the horizon.
Might look at holidays for next year though!

Afternoon all, it is rather dull here and the air is a bit damp - not forecast, sadly. We were out dancing last night so got to bed a little later than usual, therefore an easy day is on the cards. Mind you, Edward has been out on the terrace moving stuff around to make it ready for the builders tomorrow, heavy pots and paving stones. He is now settling down to watch golf for the rest of the day. I am just about to make some soup, and will be knitting later on (and perhaps snoozing ;) )

Morning all.......almost

Another beautiful sunny day here 8-)

Glad you had a nice holiday Crommers. Good idea to look at holidays for next year, it's always nice to have something to look forward to.

Shopping on a Sunday is not our thing, but will need to pop over to the small Tesco at Manston later to stock up on last minute fresh things ready for the boys tomorrow. Also need to make up the bed in the spare room. Other than that, plan to be quite lazy and sit out in the garden with a book. No roast dinner today, we'll be having fresh poached salmon with salad later, strawberry blancmange and blackcurrant jelly for pud.

Have a good day :D
