No sun here but it is warm. There is wall to wll cloudwith no breaks to be seen.

Pottering today. We will be doing some packing as we are going to Derby tomorrow. Spending two nights there as wewill be at a weddng on Wednesday.
Back home we will have more packing as we go on another cruise on Monday.

Cooler this morning and we have lots of grey and white clouds - with the possibility of rain and thunderstorms

Further up north, it's already raining which is a great hep with the fires

So that has put the kibosh on todays plans No point putting the washing out if it's going to rain and no point in painting either.

Will do the vacuuming and mopping later - gave up yesterday, I was leaking

Will be meeting Mitchell down the bar later and leftover curry for dinner.

Morning all, up again at 7am for the builder to arrive at 8am - I should know better, it is now 8.50 and no sign although in fairness he does live on the south side and traffic can be ...... ooooooh here he is!! So off to the gym for me later and maybe ironing this afternoon. Edward has to go for his B12 injection at 9.30 and he is not playing golf today so he will be here to talk to the builder. Our tank will need to be drained for the work to continue so I had better fill a few containers with water. It will be a fun day when not able to flush the toilet At least the weather is nice.

It's grey here, after a scorching weekend, but then it IS Bank Holiday It's quiet here with no Becks, but Mick and I will be wandering out at some point, and see where the day takes us.

Good morning all, it’s foggy and quite cool here although it’s forecast to be 27c later.

We’re taking advantage of the Odeon’s air conditioning this afternoon and going to see Once Upon A Time In Hollywood. It’s nearly 3 hours long so I’m not sure how much of it I’ll see - we had a restless night waiting for Joe to get back from Leeds. We finally heard his car just before 6am, he went straight to bed and is now up and ready for work, he’s got a 10-7 shift today.

Very hot here already, forecast for 29c today.
Not much onand it certainly isn't a day to be doing any donkey work.
Next door got a shock the day we went to Whitby; Bill (neighbour Steve's dad) had come round to take an overgrown conifer down for them and found it had a wasp's nest in it! He found out when he got stung.
I saw the nest, the outside just looked like fluffy cotton wool. according to another neighbour the wasps have now set up home in two ornamental olive trees right next to Steve's front door!
