Morning all :D

Sunny and hot 8-)

Just about ready for the invasion, only lunch to sort now. Nothing too strenuous salad with hot and cold bits, quiches, ham that sort of thing. Z&M are coming by train and plan to stop at the harbour so the boys can have a good run on the beach on the walk here........excellent plan. 1. because it will hopefully wear them out and 2. driving home with all the bank holiday peeps would be a nightmare, especially with weather like this. The main beaches have been packed like sardines, luckily for the locals there are plenty of quieter beaches where you can avoid the 'tourists'.

Have a good Bank Holiday Monday :D

Jo, we heard on the car radio this morning that there are traffic problems coming out of the Leeds festival, and I said to Mick that I hoped Joe wasn't sitting in it! Glad he got home ok and hope he's not too shattered for work xx

Typical, Saundra!

Too hot to do anything strenuous today. We're resting up this afternoon and looking forward to the new Midsomer Murders tonight! 8-)

Kaz, he said that it took them an hour to get off the car park. Their friends slept in the back of the car but Amanda stayed awake and kept him company. He sensibly stopped, got fresh air and rested often, even in a village two miles from home after dropping the others off because he was starting to feel tired. We’d nagged him about tiredness and I think it was always in the back of his mind anyway, not sure if you remember me saying that a friend of his died in a crash last Summer after falling asleep while driving home from a day out in Wales :(

He did his shift, came home and went straight out for a bit and was still awake and watching TV in his room at 1am when I went to bed
