Good morning Wednesday

Postby Ally » 28 Aug 2019, 06:00

Good morning.

Hot. 8-) 8-)

A quick swim before the painter arrives at 9 and the kitchen man at 9.30. The painter has finished the boys rooms so I'll be putting things back in them then off to Ikea to buy two sofa beds. The ones I saw last week look really nice.

Have a great day everyone.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Misty start, can't see the Algarve hills   and if it gets much thicker, won't see the bottom of the field  Will be warm once that's cleared 8-)

Will do the watering after coffee and then head into Ourique. Just to do the shopping and will go to the Chinese shop for gardening boots for me and also the chemist.

Back for a coffee and collect the rolls I ordered, if Odette remembers, she forgot last week

Back home to do not a lot

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning Ally, more fun shopping then! :D

Morning Jan, hope the mist clears soon xx

Busy day today, meeting my friend for a cuppa in town, then getting a haircut if it's not too busy in there. This afternoon Mick and I have an appointment at our solicitor's, to make our will. We did have a DIY style one, but quite frankly after the chaos Aunt J left behind we want everything tied up properly :? 8-)

On a lighter note, we're out for dinner tonight with Doreen and Jeff and Jayne, who are up from Weymouth, visiting Doreen :) The Swan, at Coombe Hill, on the way to Tewksbury - not been before, but it has a very good reputation :)

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Well at least the paint will be dry quickly Ally! Have a lovely meal out Kaz. Enjoy doing not a lot Jan.
Busy day yesterday, part of which was spent at the doctors re hip problems. He's a good GP though, we're lucky to have him.
Today we are going to see out son; he's busking in Pontefract town centre, raising money for the hospice there. He played in Normanton yesterday and did well.
After that we might do a Ka and eat out too, it seems like a plan to me.
I think Stevie Wonder has been doing the weather forecast round here for the last few days; we had three scorchio days and they predicted one. They've got it right today though. Much cooler and cloudy. Have a good day all.

Morning all, it is cloudy and much cooler here, but thankfully no rain as our new bathroom window is supposed to go in today and that means work on the roof also. The builder has arrived and another worker with him, they are having a smoke outside at the moment  I am off to the gym later and then most of the group is going for a proper lunch in a local restaurant.....rush home from the gym, quick change and meeting at 1.15pm. Early to bed tonight as I had a poor night’s sleep last night, added to the recent early mornings, I feel very tired indeed.

Good morning all, it's clouded over here after a sunny start.

I'm living dangerously by having a line of washing out to dry, we're forecast heavy rain for today but the forecast for when it'll actually start seems to change every time I look at the weather apps. I think I'll hold off on doing the second load until tomorrow though

Enjoy your meal Kaz! I remember some years ago when we were driving down to Cornwall we got off the M5 somewhere in Gloucestershire and drove up a hill where we had a picnic, the views were stunning from up there. I must ask John where it was.

Crommers, your son is an absolute star to be doing that, I hope he raises loads of money!

Have a good day all!

Love a good thunderstorm Saundra :D :D especially here, we can see for miles :D :D

Odette forgot the bread rolls, she'd written down Thursday, not Wednesday   But we're off to Castro Verde tomorrow morning, so will collect them when we get back.

Rather warm now, just going to prep the chicken for dinner, then have a swim, now the water is back to normal

I love a storm too. My Nan was terrified though and anyone of us who was available would rush around to sit with her when a storm started. She was a strong lady normally, nothing otherwise phased her, and I often wonder if her fear came from living in Birmingham during the war and the bangs and flashes being reminiscent of air raids.
