Morning Cruiser, morning everyone

Warm already and going to be hot later 8-)

Enjoy your cruise Cruiser :D

Not doing a lot today, the planned day has gone out of the window as I really can't be bothered to go into Ourique, do the doctor and the curtain lady. I will just read, might do the washing and laze in and on the pool.

Leftovers for dinner, so that's easy too

Hope Ria's travel this morning is not as unpleasant as normal x

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Jan, a CBA day sounds like a good idea ;)

Ria, hope your first day back isn't too much hassle xxx

It's our monthly lunch date of the old WW helpers hang today, so I'm meeting Em and J at 11.30 beforehand. It's sunny here, but there's a very autumnal feel.I

Love to all :) xx

Morning all, it is a lovely autumn day here, but certainly cooler. Up early again - builders due (not here yet  ) and the children were being left in early as Miss Osc has gone to Norman's funeral mass and needed to set off early as the church is the far side of town and traffic would be very bad. I brought Kellie to school and Michael went on ahead of us on his own. Myself and my sister will collect Kellie at 11.45 and then my sister will be minding the children in their own house for the rest of the day. Kellie goes to her first ballet class today, I have the ballet cardigan almost finished. I am also taking up a dress that I want to take on our cruise, it is not overlong but just a tiny bit long for dancing with a risk of standing on the hem. There is a little bit of ironing to be done but I might leave it until tomorrow.

Have a nice cruise, Cruiser - where to this time?

Morning all..........almost

Nice and bright here today.

Enjoy the cruise Cruiser.

Always good to have a lazy day now and then Jan.

As you can see we've had a nice long lie in. Going to Blue Wave for a hydro session later this afternoon, the plan is to get 3 sessions in this week. Need to make up for last week, we only got over there once and both felt it.

Have a good day :D

I hope the hydro session goes well Jen. Leave the ironing today Osc and rest up a bit. I remember you said you were extremely tired last week. Have a good one Cruiser.
Anyway, bonjour from Chateau Dysentery. MrsC is down with a nasty bug; vomiting, dizziness and upset stomach. Son in law is also stricken; last week Eliza wasn't well so we are wondering if they have caught it from her. Daughter and SiL were supposed to be going to the lakes today as well.
If I don't post for a couple of days you'll know why!
Have a good one all.

A good afternoon all... well as Monday's go it's not too bad. The train to work this morning was OK, although delayed - no surprise there really. Don't think I've had a depart / arrive on time in a very very long time :D

But rather interesting developments at work and not 100% sure what is going on. A colleague of mine L resigned two months ago - she works in Back Office and in the past it's been just her and another colleague E. For some reason head office in the US haven't started looking for a replacement for L and it's not a job that can be done by just one person so E will need someone to work alongside her. Today L came to my desk and says that she's been told E won't be in for this week; which is rather odd. I think L knows more but she can't say but reading between the lines I suspect that E may have been asked to leave or change her role but done in such a way that she's resigned of own accord. Who knows and not sure what will happen going forwards. But it's all rather fishy.

Then my manager called me into the boardroom and dropped a bomb shell, he and his wife are separating. She's such a lovely lady and it's come as a complete and unexpected blow to him - he's absolutely gutted. So all in all it's a rather odd first day back; so I'm doing my usual keeping head down and to myself thing; it works !

Weather is rather grim and grey and not very warm and sort of matches my mood here at the moment - I'm looking forward to getting home to the cats and chooks and normality :D
