Soooo annoying

:cute: :cute: :cute:

We'd arranged to meet Mitchell this afternoon, down at the bar, for a few beers and chat.

Just before we left home, there was huuuuge rumbling of thunder :Hi: Lovely, we thought, rain :Hi: :Hi:

Down at the bar, we had to go inside, as the rain came down in torrents :Hi: :Hi: for 15 minutes, shed loads, heaven we thought 8-)

Not so Jose and Odette   Rain is bad for the garden, you need tap water   :?

Thunderstorm moved on, we left and got home to find we'd had ...............…not a drop, Nada, Zilch. Nuffing at all

The bar is only 3 kms away

But ther eis still rumbling around, so hopefully, we'll get some 8-)

Ho dear Jan
Perhaps a rain dance might help
We've had a lovely sunny day with gales but the washing got dry
Hope you get rain tomorrow

That's incredibly annoying, when you need it so badly, but D lives less than a mile from us and quite often we will have rain when she doesn't - and vice versa!

Jan, have you thought about a small pond somewhere in the bottom field where the solar array is? A small pump could then feed dedicated sprinklers as required.

Would need to be where the olive trees are WM, down in the "valley". We also get water rom next doors field, as there is a natural valley. But that only works when we've had weeks of rain

We've not had rain since early April which is quite normal.

I do marvel at how plants and trees survive in this heat year on year but they do.

I'm looking forward to some wet stuff... but we've got a wait yet for that to happen.

I love the smell of freshly falling rain. :Hi:

Me too, and the lovely earthy smell afterwards. I love walking in the woods behind us after it's rained.
